for this item, I will make an exception. Let me preface by saying that I am not a game person. I use my PS3 for blu ray movies and blu ray movies only. Until now. I was at the local electronic store and saw some kid playing this game, and it looked pretty cool. I asked him what the name of it was and he told me. I saw the price on the game and did a double take. Like I said, I dont game often and certainly very little in the past 10 years, I am 32 years old, and didn't realize how much these things cost. Well I had just gotten a bonus at work, and decided to splurge a little and see just what all this gaming stuff on a PS3 is all about...go figure. Let me tell you that this is the first game that I actually get a sence of thrill from playing. Sitting close to my 46 hdtv and doing ... Read More

Cute dogs, although too often they do not respond to their name while training them. My 8 year old got a little discouraged while training his dogs. Not as simple as it seems.

For me, the Single player mode is a waste of time, I've played about an hour of single player mode, maybe 4 levels in...

The Online multiplayer is awesome! I've played about 25 hours online since I got the game last week. Its that addicting and well made. Its clear to me that they spent more time developing the multiplayer than the single player mode, and that was the RIGHT move! I've never had to wait more than a minute to get a match, you don't need friend codes to play. You can choose "play anyone" and pick right up with 3 other online players. Yes, its only 4 players in a match, there were rumors that it was going to be 12, but I've played non-stop, and never been in a match with more than 4 people. But, 4 people seems to be perfect, not too much, and not too little. You can play teams as ... Read More

I think this is a good "expansion" to the games that come with Wii Sports. Theres some fun new sports to try. And you can definately play them for a while. Each of them take some time to understand and the directions take a while to master but once you get the hang of it its alot of fun! I wouldn't recommend to young kids who can't grasp directions well, it even took me a while to learn how to do somethings correctly :-).

I've always wanted to learn a bit of Japanese so when I saw this product was available, I jumped on it! My son and I have been going through the lessons, testing each other. The lessons make it very easy for you to learn things in a progressive ways. Colors, numbers, days of the week, and small sentences step you along. You also get a chance to get familiar with the Japanese characters by writing the symbols for the words you learn! You even get to listen to the Japanese pronunciations. A voice meter shows how the voice should "look" if it's pronounced properly. Then you get a chance to say the words yourself, with your voice being on the meter. Then both the japanese pronunciation and your own are compared! Very useful tools. Lots of fun too - games are used to help you recognize words. We're really enjoying ... Read More

So I ordered this game after I have been playing GTA4 for a while. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. I feel like I'm playing a game that was made ten years ago. The graphics suck and the gameplay is just stupid. SR2 is like a kid version of GTA4. GTA4 is so much better on every level..it is just pathetic that SR2 is even considered in the same league. If your like a tween than get this but if you're a mauture gamer then cut to the chase and get the real deal...which is GTA4. I'm going to Game Stop to sell my SR2 today. It's lame.

I was a huge skeptic of this game at first, MK VS DC, it was like combining toothpaste with orange juice...."Ugh"!
But Midway pulled it off. I spent probably 3 hours with the game last night (alas no online yet) and was very pleased.
First off the PS3's controller rocked the house as far as response with the D-pad.
Second; The game itself is FUN, not only do you have the standard arcade "Tower of Power" to climb, this MK throws in a neat story mode with beautiful cut scenes and a unique way to play all the characters.
While playing the game, I never even noticed the fact it was "T" rated, blood still flies, body's and costumes get damaged (you can actually knock off Scorpion's mask), and the fighting is just plain brutal.
There's 3 new gimmicks within the matches Close Kombat, Free Fall Kombat, and Test ... Read More

Good tutorial!

Better than I expected! Reminds me of Simcity 3 and Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition!

I recommend this for Simcity fans! Much better than the Simcity Societies!
