I consider myself pretty restrictive of my son's screen time. Generally they get 90 minutes a week (including cartoons on saturday morning). Was impressed with a friend's son's ds, brain age is amazing, and I encourage my children to play it whenever they're in the car (doesn't count as screen time).

After researching the ds and the available games I purchased a ds for my two sons (age 6 and 8). My intention was to permit them to play only 2 games:
- brain age 2
- club house games

I got brain age 2 bundled when i bought the ds, but club house games was unavailable. The boys like brain age 2, but the intensity of timed mental exercises sometimes gets old, especially on long trips. I have spent the last 9 months searching in vain for club house games, enjoyed a ... Read More

I always thought a parkour based game would be a lot of fun, and I had been reading up on this game for quite some time. The final result is a sort of mixed bag.

I think my biggest gripe with Mirror's Edge is that there simply isn't [...] worth of game here. It's a lot of fun at first, but gets incredibly repetitive after playing for a few hours. The campaign is very short as well, you can beat this game in roughly 6-8 hours. Multiplayer might extend the game's life, but it consists of competing with others and posting the best times in speed trials. If this is your cup of tea you might get a lot out of this game, but as for me, I find it very repetitive and mundane (though I will admit that some of the times posted by others are very impressive, wow!)

Another problem is that ... Read More

If you play the game regularly, sure it's convenient to sign up with the bliz plans. But, why pay the tax bliz charges when you can pay the same rate (or better, if you normally go shorter plans) by getting this from Amazon? Always makes a great gift, and never spoils in the mail.

Plus, with the recent release of the expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), your gamer may need a few of these.

I really could not wait to get the game but once I got it home and played it I was not at all impressed. The game is fun but I hate the fact you have to use 1 remote when you are playing with 2 people. I would buy this used or wait till it has gone down in price some.....

This game has all of the fun of the original Pokemon Red and Blue, while adding some of the features that worked in the last few games, and taking out some of the things that didn't. At other times things have been simplified, or made better through the use of the Pokeatch in game.

If you like pokemon at all, get this game.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hated Animal Crossing. It was so boring to me...I know this game is suppose to be similar but its a completly different experience. I've never played the first My Sims so I can't really compare the two, but believe me when I say this game is hard to put down. There is so much to do! The town people are hilarious, the mini games are so much fun (and there is quite a variety), and this game offers so much customization (did I spell that right?) I highly recommend this game. The replay value is high. You run errands, fish, search for essence to either build or make items, play mini games to make your money so you can buy furniture for your house (or you can sell the fish you catch)...the list goes on. My only complaint is that this game is way too short!! They could of been more creative with the ... Read More
