I was disappointed with this game. The puzzles at times are illogical and not much fun to figure out. If I hadn't been able to go online to get clues (and sometimes answers) then I'd give it one star. The scenery in the game is very nice.

182.Hidden Expedition: Titanic from: Activision

Video Games : Hidden Expedition: Titanic
You dive and you dive searching the beautifully created Titanic wreck for hidden objects. And it's not all that easy! Some of the objects are very tiny and the clues are deliberately misleading: for instance is "bass" a fish or a string instrument? Is a "bat" a flying creature or a baseball bat? A "sand clock" fooled me for a long time, but it shouldn't have. That was an hour glass. The graphics are really marvelous, and will more or less suck you in. The Grand Staircase scene certainly is based on the actual Grand Staircase, as it is easily recognizable. You'll marvel at the intricacy of the library, deck and staterooms all in huge disarray with beautiful tropical fish floating by to distract you.

One reviewer complained that if you use the hints option and click too often on ... Read More

Little tricky, I would say this is for 7 and up. Had to help a few times. But the kids loved it and played it over and over. Super fun, safe, non-violent fun.

184.Heroes of Might & Magic IV Complete from: 3DO

The only thing I didn't like about the game was having to make choices on building up my towns. Everything else about the game was great. I like how your hero could actually participate in the combat. All in all I would reccomend this game to anyone who has liked the series at all.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?! I've just finished the "Last" compotition( the one where you compete with Pippa) and now, I don't know what to do! Mr. Scrievner is telling me "... This calls for a CELEBRATION..." and Davy says " Get back into the saddle and ride..." and Rose says to keep doing compotitions; What do I do!!! I don't think this is the end of the game, 'cuz Someone told me that Davy and Estelle kiss and all this stuff... Plus, I have about 3 or 4 blank spots left in my inventory. So if anyone know's what to do, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
THANKS A MILLION!

187.Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened (PC Games) from: CDV Software Entertainment

The title describes my reaction to this game. I enjoyed playing it, BUT I also could have done without it. It was a little too dark and sinister for me with gory scenes, and cultish themes. Of course, I expected that with the M raiting.

The graphics are not too great, but they do. The story line is interesting and most of the puzzles are challenging, except that (as other reviewers have mentioned) the game is way too linear. The most annoying part about that was that I could not pick up certain items I needed later until I recieved a certain clue. And the linear play made the puzzles less challenging because the cursor basically guided you in what to do next.

188.Patrician 3 from: Encore Software

Yet another sequel to the original and original part 2....nothing much new in the game really....updated graphics some items newer but really its not a very new invention...

Is it good? Yeah. Its ok...Would be great if they could do more...more in depth stuff....but overall its ok.

I am defintely looking forward to a new generation of these games that will leave the sequel junkies in the dirt....just need to find a company willing to use some fresh new ideas rather than hashing up old games and updating them to repackage them as "Newly Created"

189.Lord of the Rings: Return of the King from: Electronic Arts
November 03, 2003
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

>>More Details
Video Games : Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
"The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" is the last in the trilogy and was well-worth every cent you spend on it.

Pros:
Excellent Graphics (the graphics are VERY good for the PC and you can even see puddles of water glistening in the sun)
Amazing Combat (the swordplay is great and so is firing your bow at Sauron's minions: incredible!)
Great Storyline (it's Tolkien isn't it?)
HUGE Variety of Characters (you can play as a host of Middle-earth characters, from Aragorn to Faramir to Merry)

Cons:
Your Hands Can Hurt From Pressing the Button So Much (self-explanatory)

And that's it! Enjoy this jewel of a game!

Before you buy this game, I suggest that you download the demo (Google it)! It's well-worth finding out whether you like the controls, the graphics, and the gameplay overall. This is a suggestion you should follow before you buy any computer game because it's more than likely that they have a demo for it.

Technical Problems: The installation was basic, like most other computer game installations, and took around 5-10 minutes. It is important to note that once in a while--very rarely--the game would suddenly exit out of nowhere, but this may have been caused by other factors and not necessarily the game itself. Nevertheless, it is important to save frequently. Other than that, I experienced no other technical problems.

Gameplay: The gameplay reminded me a LOT of "The Longest Journey," a legendary adventure game that ... Read More
