I really wish I could give you an appropriate review, but I never received the correct format I ordered. I ordered the Vista version, but kept receiving the 2000/xp version. I finally asked for my money back. Your customer service persons kept telling me there must be a problem in distribution and there was nothing they could do except replace it. After the second wrong version, and having to keep sending them back, I demanded my money back. I did receive a refund, but was very disappointed as it was on back order for quite a while before getting the first wrong game. I have always liked buying through Amazon, as I always got very good and prompt service, but now am unsure about ordering. Is there anyway I can receive the correct version of this game? Thank you for the opportunity to write ... Read More

I really enjoyed the bars & songs. Just awesome. The playing was fun, the rat scenerio was awesome. Overall, this game was fun but not intense. This is not addictive but worth the money. Pretty easy to catch on which was great for this new gamer.

This game has superb graphics. I say that, even though it's several years old and the graphics system it uses is far outdated. The levels are beautiful, if macabre and at times, darkly bitter. The sound is also a plus. It really adds to the game and completes the theme. The voice acting is good as well; unlike many games with mediocre voice acting, the Cheshire Cat has a deep, philosophical, and slightly mocking tone that suited him completely, as did Alice's pointed, shrewd, and slightly rude tone. At times some of the nonplayer characters have slightly annoying voices, but that's probably in character, as many of these characters are annoying.
Alice's controls aren't difficult to use, and even a gamer not well suited to computer gaming would probably be able to pick them ... Read More

This computer game starring Samuel Gordon was definitely worth my money. I picked it up on a whim, as I was looking for a new game to play. I always enjoy point and clicker mystery games, (such as Nancy Drew and Agatha Christie), and this did not disappoint.
The graphics are wonderful, and the music and effects really add to the atmosphere. It really felt like it was raining in real life when it was in the game! I thoroughly enjoyed that there were many locations to go to, and different tasks at each one.
The only bad things that I can think of for the game are that I wish you could have zoomed in to see other characters or surroundings (the game is in 3rd person), it seemed like i was far away many times. The option to zoom would have been perfect for some of the situations. Unfortunately, ... Read More

166.Hitman: Blood Money from: Eidos Interactive

I've spent many years looking for a game like this and I've finally found it! One that doesn't involving going to distant, imaginary places killing make-believe aliens or going into the jungles frenetically shooting at random soldiers. There are plenty of games like those, but not many like this.

Finally a game that puts you in a more familiar setting where you could act out your wildest fantasies! You could be in a someone's mansion in the middle of a party, in a quiet suburban neighborhood with residents doing their usual activities or on a crowded downtown street filled with revelers. While your objectives are usually to assassinate just one or two people, practically anyone is fair game. From innocent lobby clerks to friendly out-of-town tourists, no one is off limits, which adds to the realism ... Read More

167.CSI Miami (Jewel Case) from: Ubisoft

Video Games : CSI Miami (Jewel Case)
Regarding my background, I have seen one episode of CSI (Las Vegas) and one episode of CSI: Miami. Although I am not a "fan," the game looked interesting. I generally like FPS and RPG styled games, but wanted something for a change of pace that did not involve combat. After trying demos of many adventure games, I settled on CSI: Miami, which is the first game in the series that I have played. Although I have read some reviews elsewhere that state how excessively easy and short the game is, that is not my impression at all.

The quality of the game is good. Each of the five cases contains a number of locations (rooms in homes, patio decks, outdoor areas at golf courses, offices, etc.) where you find evidence and interact with suspects. One location in each case has a 360 degree view--giving you a "3D" feel. The game ... Read More

I liked Stronghold 2 and Stronghold Legends was OK but this game is just so outdated and the graphics stank so much I could only play it twice before I never looked at it again.

The only thing i can say is that people should double-check that games will work on their systems before buying. I thought this war chest would run on Vista, but it didn't. I took a risk and I wasted my money. Now, I'm sure the games themselves are fun, I've played before. Just make sure you're not running vista if you want to buy them (XP or earlier is recommended)
