Video Games : Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned
"Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned" is the third installment of the Gabriel Knight games, a series of adventure games about the roguish detective/writer, Gabriel Knight. Gabriel and his companion, Grace, have been asked by Prince James of Albany to investigate a series of mysterious attacks by so-called "night visitors." When the son of Prince James is kidnapped, Gabriel pursues the night visitors to Rennes le Chateau, where he begins piecing together a mystery relating to the Holy Grail.

Despite the marketing, this game is not about vampires. Vampires have a token appearance in the game, but never command center stage, as did the voodoo hounfor in "Sins of the Fathers" or the werewolves in "The Beast Within." Gabriel and Grace make no attempt to uncover the true nature ... Read More

Good game for what it is and the time that it was made. I think the cinemas are neat to view, the ones you unlock as you play are even cooler. the unlockable players add a bit more to the game also. I wish these characters were in an actual adventrue game with these abilities and the way they look, that would rock even more. plus i get to play with my favorite character 'the pheonix" and her more powerful and vengeful counterpart "the dark phoenix". I'm thinking there should be a game that chronicles, the phoenix's rise in Jean and protecting the M'kron crystal.......and maybe the rise and taming of the dark phoenix, I'd pay a couple of hundred dollars for that one.

Video Games : Delta Force: Black Hawk Down
"Delta Force: Black Hawk Down," while it may seem like it is, is not based either on the book or the film. The developers did ask Mark Bowden, the author of the book, to use his description of Mogadishu for the game but he respectfully declined, wanting to respect the nineteen soldiers who fell there. This is a powerful and sometimes moving game and should be played by anyone who loves our Armed Forces and the men and women serving in them.

Pros:
Decent Graphics (the graphics are good but not mind-blowing, but I didn't buy this game to get jaw-dropping graphics, I bought it because I love the military and also Delta Force)
Historical Plot (most of the missions you are sent on are based on real life events, but the developers made up a few, although you ... Read More

One thing I didn't like was being penalized for shooting a fleeing armed suspect. Is this true for real cops?Otherwise a great game that should have had save checkpoints.

This is a very cool game. I only have one problem with it. I can play it on the computer by myself but have yet been able to figure out how to connect to my brothers computer and play against him. We worked for hours trying to connect.

I found that this game isn't very easily understood. You have to search and scrabble for any answers that you may need. This game needs to have a page for others to view eachother's findings. That would be a help. I enjoyed the books and movies, but the game is very frustrating to understand.

Very good driving game, good graphics and physics, although FlatOut2 is of course better. I only got this cause I went thru all of flatout2 and needed more! Only complaint: too much "dirt" driving, I prefer cities and concrete. Also, it seems a bit harder than FlatOut2, but I am getting thru it in time.

The game Diable is several years old now (since Blizzard has put their time and efforts into the World of Warcraft), but it still is fun and entertaining to play. The graphics are still fairly good and the the randomness of the items and quests keep it fresh to a degree. A good RPG if you don't necessarily want to play online.

Now I have to be honest here, and tell you all that I had never even heard about this game until I started to see reviews and "Greatest gba games of all times" awards on sites like GameSpy and IGN.

It's also made by one of my all-time favorite game developers: Blizzard (of World of WarCraft, WarCraft 2 and 3 and StarCraft fame; then known as "Silicon and Synapse") you see, this gba title is apparently the port of a snes title from way back when. (Which explains why I've never heard of it: I didn't get my hands on a SNES until high school, still have it, tho.)

One part platformer, and three parts puzzler, Lost vikings will have you pulling out your hair at the difficulty of the game, but it's one of those, "Gotta try again" types of games.

The Lost Vikings puts players in full control ... Read More
