I loved playing Crash Bandicoot for playstation, so i decided to get this game for DS. It's not what I expected at all! It is a rip off of mario party, but less fun. I've played the game a total of maybe 5 times and don't really plan on playing it again. Maybe it would be okay for child gamers, but not so much for the older youth.

I highly recommend the game, but it when you register it it's locked to a single user account on Steam. So if you buy it used, you won't be able to register, and can't play!

Video Games : Barbie Horse Adventures: Wild Horse Rescue
this is a GREAT game. i am not a fan of Barbie. but daughter loves loves loves horses. No violence. Nothing mean. its riding through some neat scenery. coins lead the way. also buy more outfits. different challenges with each trail & for the foals. havent made it thru the maze of the secret garden yet & i wish there were some coins there leading the way because that got a bit too frustrating for my daughter. we have the xbox360. i dont know if its a compatibility thing or not but even with the update the 2nd player of the minigames is not visual so thats not so much fun when friends come to play. wish there were more fun girl games like this to choose from.

Video Games : Hunter: The Reckoning- Redeemer
I'll be honest; I wasn't so enthralled with Hunter: The Reckoning that I immediately had to rush out and buy "Redeemer". However, I do like seeing if things improve in a series and Hunter: The Reckoning was a good enough game to at least pique my interest into wanting to see what they did this time. If you're a die hard follower of this series then I think you'll find this an enjoyable game, but if you only casually enter this particular universe you'll be slightly disappointed.

You'd think that the follow-up would be bigger, badder, and more intense. Unfortunately we don't exactly get that. You do get some cool new things that definitely made playing this game a little better. The most obvious is a new player character in addition to the four Hunters from the first game, some of you might remember ... Read More

The game, overall, was great. The graphics are a little better than the original, but for the most part it looks the same. Great artwork and the musical score isn't too bad. The world is MUCH bigger than the first game, so if you like the big world and lots of little quests, this is a good game for you. The story is again very well thought out and the addition of personal side quests for every character makes it hard to just say "I don't want that person" and just walk on like in the first game. There are lots of throw backs to the first game which a lot of times are amusing (if you played the first one). The stronghold idea is also cool and makes for a little more substance to the game. My main flaw with the game was that they still used 2nd edition rules basically. They did add some 3rd to it, but regardless, 2nd was ... Read More

Yes, Doom was the beginning of the FPS genre as we know it. But Half-Life marked the beginning of an evolutionary leap for the genre. Quite simply put, Half-Life is, and will remain, one of the greatest games ever. I really can't put the gameplay experience into words, but I remember when I first played this game almost ten years ago, I was absolutely absorbed. Seriously. Absorbed. At the time, the mods were sharp, fun, and novel. Counter-strike. Firearms. Team Fortress Classic.

Man, those were fun days.

If you haven't played this game, you need to experience it and understand what it has done to the world of first-person shooters. The enemies. The weapons. The music. The levels. The creativity. It's a cinematic experience in itself, and you're the star.

Video Games : Ground Control 2
This is another game I picked up based on my love of the original. Unlike some other series (*cough*NeverwinterNights*cough*), this one actually got better, rather than much, much worse.

Set a couple hundred years after the events in Ground Control, GC2 details the plight of the Northern Star Alliance, protectors of a colony abandoned when the Crayven Corporation went belly-up. They're under attack by the Terran Empire, a vaguely Roman organization bent on (surprise!) galactic domination.

You play the role of a Captain in the Northern Star Alliance. The game's story follows the campaign to defend the colony, and then an audacious attempt to evacuate said colony so the Virons, new allies of the NSA, can stand and fight the Empire without civilians being in the way. There's a nice tie-in to the original game in there, as the ... Read More
