My daughter thought this game was a lot of fun. She really enjoyed being Scrat. The graphics are good with smooth game play. The controls are not confusing. However there were some parts that we VERY hard, even for me. The was a mini-game involving digging and one simon says style game involving a timer had had me at wits end. If you are getting this for young children expect to help them.

Video Games : Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
i got this game mostly because the cover looked cool. it ended up being a pretty fun game, but it was much different than most spyro games. first, there are an infinite amount of gems, and you cant buy anything with them. they just refill health, breath, and level-up power. spyro's powers can upgrade to your choice which is cool. the powers he has are much better than previous spyro games. you get the power to upgrade from blue gems, and there are an infinite number of those which you get from killing the infinite number of bad guys. the bad guys are very easy to beat, and they have cool names. there are four levels which arent hard, and the bosses at the end of them are very easy to defeat. the final boss is a little tricky, but the main hard part was walking/flying to the boss stage. there are no special ... I know that being an original Spyro gamer (since it first came out on PS1) I've grown up alot. I still have all the games from the first playstation and all games from playstation 2. I just couldn't part with them when I sold the the game consoles. I purchased a Nintendo DS...after my Gameboy Advanced was stolen and didn't really think there was anything out there for me...after a search of Spyro on Amazon.com landed me with my first Spyro DS game, "Spyro; Shadow Legacy". I quickly learned that spyro was not going around taping crystallized dragons or chasing egg snatchers any more...and Gnasty Gnorc was a thing of the past. Mind you I hadn't played since "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly"...which I'd say was mediocre game play at best. I believe that was the last game before Sierra took it over. Well to be quite ... Video Games : Spyro Collectors' Edition
These games really are part of my early childhood, but I still love them. In 2002, when I was five years old, my dad came home from the video game store with the first one (Spyro The Dragon). I loved it so much that before I could even finish the first one, my dad bought me the second one (Ripto's Rage) and the third one ( Year of the Dragon). Every once in a while, I pull them out again and they're still a bit challenging. These games will always be special to me. Another reason I want to pull them out once in a while is that I've never beaten any of them. The graphics may not be the best, but they are still alot of fun.

They all have cute, easy to follow plotlines. I truly believe that anyone of any age can play them. Even my 43-year-old dad still likes them. I completely and utterly recomend ... Read More

Video Games : JumpStart Study Helpers Spelling Bee
Hi, I'm StoryMaker. I've been enjoying JumpStart products since I was in Kindergarten. For Christmas, I got Jumpstart Advanced Study Helpers V2.0, a set of CD-ROMs which includes this disc (JumpStart Study Helpers Spelling Bee) and JumpStart Study Helpers Math Booster. The Math Booster disc is a very fun way to practice math, and it has very good educational content. This disc is *a little* fun, but nowhere near as good as other JumpStart products.

This CD-ROM features 3 educational, ocean-themed games starring Frankie the dog. You can use the content chooser to choose a list of spelling words from the game or you can make custom lists using the editor. Sounds pretty good so far, huh? Well, it WOULD be, if not for various phenomenons.

Firstly, you never actually spell complete words ... Read More

99.Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart from: Vivendi Universal

Video Games : Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart
Unfortunately, this sequel to the Playstation's Crash Team Racing was a flop.

You play as Team Bandicoot (The Good Guys) or Team Cortex (The Bad Guys)in this very poor excuse for a racing game. Come on, everyone knows that when you think of kart racing your thinking of Mario Kart; so did the people at Vicarius Visions, Universal Interactive, and Vivendi Universal.(Those dudes who made that terrible Buffy game)

Audio- Nice,in game Dolby Digital A+

Visuals- Very sleek and and cartoony, perfect for a game like this. A+

Gameplay- Well, from the images and the and the great audio you would think this game would have great gameplay, well I'm sorry to dissapoint you but you WON'T be impressed. First there's the one player mode, which is an "Adventure" where ... Read More

I bought this game for my daughter, for Christmas and she hates it. I tried playing it myself and I would have to agree. It's very boring and is cheaply made. I would not reccomend this to anyone.
