I've played online games for 10 years now and let me tell you I get tired of those monthly fees. Joint Ops is a fun war game with NO monthly fee. You can play with others, host your own battle or whatever you feel like doing. It's simple, yet can be exciting and fun. It's not be greatest game but it's a fun way to pass the time for no fees.

The opportunity to play alongside somebody else is SO worth every penny you spend on this game. People may have some complaints about it from a RPG perspective or other perpectives but the advantage of playing with my son or daughter has provided years of enjoyment and common experience. 2 Thumbs WAY up!

This game is excellent. The action is intense, and the dangers are more varied than in Delta Force. For example, in one mission, you have to traverse a minefield as well as deal with crocodiles. Being able to use vehicle mounted weapons is a lot of fun as well.

Unfortunately, there are a few major glitches in the game. First of all, the nightvision doesn't work. This may be due to inadequacies in my PC's graphics capabilities, I don't know.

Second of all, if you update the game AFTER you have already saved the game at various points in missions, you will not be able to load those old saved games.

Okay let explain to you what happened see I originally bought the PSP version of this game and loved the graphic's but could not get any where because of the controls on the PSP so I traded in my PSP version of Eragon because I kept getting frustated with the game trying to play it and got the Eragon DS version. My gosh I absolutely love the DS version of Eragon and plus I can play this version of the game so much more easier on my Crimson and Black DS Lite as opposed to my Black PSP. What ever you do do not get this game in PSP format (to frustating) get this game in DS format it will be easier for you to play and understand too. I mean in the DS format I'm up level 5 or 6 in the PSP format version I couldn't even get past level 2 PSP version way to hard take my word on this. Buy this game you'll ... Read More

Video Games : Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
i got this game mostly because the cover looked cool. it ended up being a pretty fun game, but it was much different than most spyro games. first, there are an infinite amount of gems, and you cant buy anything with them. they just refill health, breath, and level-up power. spyro's powers can upgrade to your choice which is cool. the powers he has are much better than previous spyro games. you get the power to upgrade from blue gems, and there are an infinite number of those which you get from killing the infinite number of bad guys. the bad guys are very easy to beat, and they have cool names. there are four levels which arent hard, and the bosses at the end of them are very easy to defeat. the final boss is a little tricky, but the main hard part was walking/flying to the boss stage. there are no special ... PERHAPS THE BEST 1st Person Shooter EVER. I have hosted Delta Force Land Warrior for over 5 years nightly, and thought nothing could beat it; BUT NovaLogic finally outdid themselves with Delta Force Xtreme, which TRULY LIVES UP TO IT'S NAME. This major sleeper at this price is a Way Cool Find. Poor advertising AND poorly stocked supplies of the game on their part, is the only reason it has not taken off like Hot Cakes. I host DFX every odd numbered night starting around 9:00 PM Pacific. My site is DC's--DM, drop in if you buy this DFX game.

This a "more" 3D game than the Swan Lake game because you actually move around in 3D environment.

At first I thought this game was really boring (compared to Swan Lake). BUT my four-year old daughter persisted and continued to play, and she eventually figured out amazing parts of the game that the beginning had completely belied.

Now I have to be honest here, and tell you all that I had never even heard about this game until I started to see reviews and "Greatest gba games of all times" awards on sites like GameSpy and IGN.

It's also made by one of my all-time favorite game developers: Blizzard (of World of WarCraft, WarCraft 2 and 3 and StarCraft fame; then known as "Silicon and Synapse") you see, this gba title is apparently the port of a snes title from way back when. (Which explains why I've never heard of it: I didn't get my hands on a SNES until high school, still have it, tho.)

One part platformer, and three parts puzzler, Lost vikings will have you pulling out your hair at the difficulty of the game, but it's one of those, "Gotta try again" types of games.

The Lost Vikings puts players in full ... Read More

Yeh, this really shows how careful you need to be in purchasing PC games these days in 2008. I decided be buy this game at a very low price, because it had great reviews and I had just recently played AVP 2, which was also a few years old, but the AVP 2 demo was fantastic and the scarriest PC game I ever played (in the demo you can play as the marine only).
No, the graphics are very bad really, and the marine really has like no chance at all to survive. The game should be playable. One gets spoiled these days with the new stuff out, and lets hope it stays that way.
Final Comment: Avoid this game and go for the second edition AVP 2. Download the demo first (its not too long), then buy that one if you like it. Be Prepared, it is scarry as hell.

The only bad thing about this game is that it will destroy the fun from every game you will ever play again. Every game that I have played since will always be compared to this. It is the Michael Jordon and Tigger Woods of PC games.
