First, the voice command is interesting and works very well. Generally, I found the graphics and gameplay to be pretty good. As an RTS game, however, there's not much different here. True, you don't have to build bases, harvest resources and create units, which can be a pain. But just like all previous RTS games, End War finishes the same way-- ordering a rush of units against the enemy. You can try to do this in a strategic way, but there's no real point to it. The single player campaign is a disappointment too. The underlying story is disjointed and boring-- you certainly aren't engrossed in the outcome of this conflict. This is another game where the publisher has decided to treat its customers like pirates. I thought that if I bought the game through Steam I wouldn't have to deal with Securom, after all Steam has its own DRM system. The thing I like about Steam is that I don't need to have a CD in the drive and if I loose my data I can always download another copy of the game. Trade off - No resale value or second hand market. Now, WHY IS FARCRY2 BUNDLED WITH SECUROM AND 5 INSTALLS IF YOU BUY IT THRU STEAM???? WTF is this? How am I pirating the game after I bought it through Steam and why I can only get to install it 5 times??? Why am I being treated like a pirate? Since when you only get 5 installs when it comes to PC games. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen, this limited use is ilegal and unethical. ... Read More

I waited until November 2008 to purchase this game. 1) I didn't think it would be very good 2) I didn't really have time to put into it. It was well worth the wait. I've only played the game for a total of about 4 hours so far and I really appreciate the story line and feel of the game. I don't usually play this type of game but, I'll admit, this is one I will finish. The game play reminds me of Tomb Raider and Ninja Gaiden (the new version). If you haven't played this yet and your into this type of single player game, grab this one. The price has dropped considerably and it's well worth the low price.

The storyline in this game had promise, but the way the game is played/designed led to confusion. I eventually lost interest.

Im a big fan of fps games and wanted something different.I havnt played an RTS game in 5 years mainly because the controls were hard.I got hooked on this game since the demo and with the voice command its so much fun and simple to play. However here are some things to consider: This game is gonna take 5 gigs of your hard drive space for install so you might have to erase some stuff. Also,some times it doesnt pic up my voice commands clearly and sends units to the wrong places which has costed me some games.It might be because Im using a bluetooth headpiece which pics up sound from around me if its not quit. Also this game seems to skip a lot or has even frozen my ps3.Thats why I stopped playing on PC beacause with games installed on the HD it would do this and fps games dont really store much on the HD. Gameplay - 9 of 10 RSV2 stands out in a crowd of shooter and FPS games that inundate the markets today. As a tactical shooter you have to actually use your brain to stay alive - much like real life. The action is SWAT type. In this case you're hunting down terrorists. Being able to kill quickly and efficiently will keep you alive the longest. Running into a room guns blazin' will get you killed quicker than you can say Halo. A full cover system is implemented just as in the first game. You're able to hide behind anything that will not expose your body and some that you can still be killed while behind. You are then able to reveal yourself from the side or the top of the cover. This game is the best of the best. If you like sneak attacks, sniping, strategy, accuracy in making your kills...this is your game! This game is in the Call of Duty 4 league, in fact, the graphics are better on COD4 but the game play I think is much better on Rainbow six. Its just a matter of preference and both games are must owns.

One of the best, if not the best, WWII fps ever. No issues with Win Vista, no crashes or glitches. Squad AI is better than before as there was no stupidly standing in front of cover and getting shot. Great game, I highly recommend............
