Although they have different covers, this CD-rom seems to be "Arthur's Reading" also, exact same. My son likes Arthur so this interested him, but he only plays it once in a while, not that often, but for the price it was a good buy.

I added this product to my list of the best games of preschoolers quite a few years ago. I was browsing through all the games available for linux and was pleasantly surprised to see this game listed. I'm so glad to see more mainstream game publishers taking the time and energy to include linux when they are developing games!

We bought this as a gift for our 3rd and 4th grade boys who really enjoy history. They have never seen the show since it airs in our area earlier than they get off the bus. They needed no frame of reference since all the main characters are from the Revolution or from a specific event. They enjoyed meeting all the players and asking them who, what, where, why, and how. After determining the best information they wrote a newspaper article based on the event and then printed it. The better the newspaper the better the circulation of the paper. My husband and I were very surprised that they have played it as long as they have or as much. These two really like Spyro and Kingdom Hearts, so this was a great deal. As a social studies teacher I would recommend this for any 4th grade classroom ... Read More

My kids liked this. It isn't their favorite game of course but they use it at school and it is a fun way for them to have some educational time at the computer.

I bought this for my 2 year olds who cannot yet use a mouse. The game has lots of fun and sweet games within it which gently reinforce skills such as counting to five and colours without being in your face about it. The colouring game is ideal for teaching toddlers how to use the mouse as when they move the mouse, part of the screen is coloured it. This is less subtle than tyring to work out that they are moving an icon! There is no need to click- all moves are made by moving the mouse. Most games can be played and interest maintained even with random movements so are suitable for beginners. But I am sure they will enjoy it even more once they work out how the mouse works.
This runs on Windows Vista and XP (I have version 2.0)

This game unfortunatly might be unstable for some windows XP. I bought this game years ago for my first child when we had windows 95 and it was wonderful!! She loved it and it was a great teaching tool. But when we upgrated to XP, everytime when I tryed to play it, it would just shut my computer down. I was excited when I ordered this one because I thought that it had been updated for XP but apparently it was not because when I recieved it, it does the same thing. It might work on some XP's, I'm not sure but I know it does not work on mine. I hate it, because I so wanted to use it for my other daughter who is 3 years old.
