My 8-year-old son loves this game, but the glitch is really a problem. You get all the way to the end, prepared to play the final round, and then you have an "o" where you should have an "l," and you can't go on. If you can stand that disappointment, it's still fun to play, and blessedly non-violent. As for the "true" nature of Batman, my son is clueless, so I'm not worried about that. Except for the glitch, it's a great game--I like playing it too. I'd buy it again for a reduced price.

Emperor's Mahjong, like many other tile matching computer games, call themselves mahjong even though they're not. They are mahjong SOLITAIRE. In order to get it to install on Windows XP, you open "my computer" and right click on the cd and click "open". You'll then want to change the way it installs from "windows 95" to "windows 98/Windows ME". Then it will install and play just fine.

Tower of Doom, Utopia, and Night Stalker are as fun as I remember them. The games work great, but the keys get a LOT of getting used to at times. The more a game depended on the Intellivision's "disc pad" the harder it is to play the game. However, for a couple of bucks, this is a cheap visit to the past!

These "Adventure Workshop" packages are enough to drive a shopper crazy. If you haven't figured it out by now, you owe it to yourself to find out that there have been at least EIGHT DIFFERENT packages sold under this same title! The one I'm reviewing here is supposedly ASIN number B000063LGF, and the title includes no "version" number unlike most other Amazon listings for this product. However, the photograph looks like a package that I own, and that's what I'll comment about here. NOTE that in this photo, as in the one I own, there are three -- not four -- programs. Two are Reader Rabbit titles, and the other is "Clue Finders". The Reader Rabbit programs are just okay. They install reasonably well under XP and they cover the learning areas that ... Read More
