Video Games : Gears of War 2 Limited Edition
I'll start by saying that I'm writing this review in lieu of hurling my controller through the wall- so I guess the first comment is that the later stages of Gears of War 2 can get a bit rough. I guess my first clue should have been when I accidentally discovered that you can go "down but not out" in single player- a big change from the first game. But I have to say that Gears 2 is one of the best games this year.
Gears 2 picks up six months after the events of Gears of War, document the continuing struggle between Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad and the Locust Horde. Locations range from the destroyed urban environments of the first game before heading underground to the heart of the Locust stronghold. In pre-release interviews, developers were asked if this chapter would follow the trend ... Read More

I heard a lot of hype about this game and I read a lot of reviews and finally got convinced.

It's hard to decide where to start with this game. In fact I completely scratched my first review and started over again.

I'll try reverting to the standard "pros and cons" system:

Pros:

Graphics are decent, things are easy to find, enemies are easily identifiable by red highlights when they first appear - you don't often get snuck up on except when being shot at by enemies off-screen.

There's a lot to do in Fable II. Lots of places to go, lots of people to see, lots of quests to go after, lots of stuff to buy/own/find/steal... It's a game that keeps you entertained simply by bombarding you with content and options. That alone justifies the ... Read More

Halo 3, the amazingly highly anticipated sequel to the highly successful and critically acclaimed Halo franchise with being the third and final installment. Easily one of the best games out with taking full advantage of the power of Xbox 360, Halo 3 expands on everything that has made the franchise great, adding a wealth of technical and gameplay advancements. The game design has evolved with next-generation, high-definition visuals, enhanced AI, an advanced real-time lighting engine, and, of course, new weapons, characters, and challenges. Halo 3 promised an unparalleled first-person shooter experience and, in the end, we got just that with the most compelling and engrossing story in the franchise's history. Also Halo 3 brings us a unique multiplayer experience boosting a lot more fun than that of Halo ... Read More

This product is amazing. The fact that it can be played for 5 hours or more without a break and feel only a little hot is just fantastic. I have good reasons to believe this is the new Jasper Chipset Xbox models.
Also, the extremely well made Xbox360 Dashboard is easy to navigate and has many options. The controller battery life is long, and you can turn on and off the Xbox with it. And just so people know, either way it is orientated (horizontal or vertical) is up to you. It makes no differance.
I am extremly satisfied with this product. I highly recommend it to potential buyers.

Great controller for almost all game types, especially shooters. I knock one star off because the d-pad is not very accurate, thus this controller is not good for fighting and classic arcade games. Other than that, it's very comfortable and has a nice feel to it even after extended gaming sessions.

***I know this game says 10+, however, I just wanted to post a warning to parents or anyone thinking of buying this game for younger gamers that are non-readers. There is NO speech the game is a reading based game and you must read throughout the entire game to find clues to your next adventure and gameplay tips etc.***

I have found this game to be very challenging and have put in around 10 hours of gameplay. The game does start out slow while trying to figure out how to play the game and build vehicles. However, once the mechanics of the game are mastered and other worlds unlocked the game really shines. The challenges are very exciting with flying, racing, searching etc. all under a time constraint. Spend some extra time with this game as its not a sit down and play, you will really need to read ... I'll admit it works beautifully and easily-- when it works, that is.

Before you purchase this, do an online search in google or something and check out the problems people have with this.

After one year of buying this, it stopped working. It simply stopped working. I looked online to see if maybe there is a way to fix this. I was amazed at how many people also had the same problem as me. For such a price, one would expect this adapter to last a little bit longer than one year.

An alternative to this adapter is to buy an easy access point and an ethernet cable. That should cost less than half the price of this adapter.

Some people are lucky I guess, but I was not. Do some research first, though.

If you know anything about the 1st fable, it's amazing, and Fable 2 does justice for a sequel. The Gameplay is great and the story is pretty good, it's just the bugs. There are so many bugs and glitches in the game it's ridiculous. I have no clue why there are so many in the game, but it's such a good game that you tend to not even care that there are these terrible bugs. If it were any other game, I would have quit for the glitches, but it's just such a sweet game that I didn't want to stop playing.
