The Haunting of Castle Malloy is another well thought out programmed PC Game! I have never been disappointed with any of the Nancy Drew Series and this one is no exception. Again it educates in a most poignant way about the area or location of the world you are at. I literally had to search the internet to learn how to play and score in darts! And now I know how to play darts. I became quite the "Mixer" when I had to serve at the Irish Pub. Some parts are a wee bit tricky lass, like once you program the jet pack. If you are not in the location the game somehow needs you to be at you will explode and die but come back to life often.lol Also when you are jet packing about I thought I could fly up into the heavens...not so I lost fuel and had to be given another chance. This is another great Nancy Drew game and if you are a fan you will not be disappointed. My daughters and I play them together and love them. This one was a little shorter, but still fun with great clues, puzzles, graphics and effects.

Loved this Nancy Drew mystery. Fun and challenging puzzles, Nothing tedious or repetitive. Kept me on the edge wanting more.

I've played a few of the other ND mysteries and enjoyed them. The graphics for White Wolf are nice, and the story is pretty good. Most of the puzzles for this one are just okay, but the cooking 'drill' and housekeeping got repetitive and tedious. It kind of ruined the game for me.

The Secret of the Old Clock is based on the very first Nancy Drew book, by the same name. As a result, the game itself is set in the 1930's, so no cellphone or computer for Nancy this time! However you do have Nancy's cool car, and can drive around town in it. The game starts off with Nancy visiting her friend Emily, whose mother owned Liliac Inn. Her mother has passed away, and Emily is left in the care of her mother's friend. You have to find out what's going on at the Inn, with all the weird happenings! There are some fun mini-games to play, and puzzles to work out. I found the game to be very enjoyable, and visually it's beautiful. The Inn is wonderful to explore, as are the other parts of town! This game was supossed to be fun and enjoyable, but for some reason when I bought a new game the sent me an old beat up scratched box. Then when we tried to install it it couldnt find a "pathway" to the computar theres 14.00 you'll never get back. Its only for the old computars and it wont even work on a new xps 400[and thats not even new].

While this game was primitive compared to all the other Nancy Drew games, it's definately worth a play if for no other reason then to see how these awesome games got their start. The graphics and the music are pretty funny and I got a kick out of how much cheesier the dialogue was. The overall plot structure of the game is fast compared to more recent games; you can do it in half the time. The most annoying part of the game is that every time you go to the high school (where about 75% of the game takes place), you had to change disks. Then while in the high school, you'd have to change disks back to get into other locations. I bought this game, not having played the Nancy Drew games before. I'd read the books as a child, and the games are good extentsion of that. This game was fun, and enjoyable. It has a good storyline, lots of puzzles, and quite good graphics. It wasn't easy to complete, took a week or so, but I had fun while I was working out the puzzles, and exploring many parts of the Nancy Drew world. I would recomend this to anyone who enjoys computer games, especially girls.

I bought this game for my 8 yr old daughter and she loves it. It was a good investment and it teaches her patience and how to look for things.
