I know this has been out for a while but I wanted to write a review anyway. I have a laptop and did not want to overpower it or install something and it not work properly. But when I read about this game I was excited to see that it would work. The stories were fun to do but when they're done it got a little bit boring. I did the free-play mode and got tired of it quick. I wish that there were some sort of add-ons for these games like the regular version. It seems that EA has all but forgotten about the "Stories" series. The support is not even on the site with the other Sims games it's on Yahoo and I think it may have even been removed from there. I don't regret buying it but I just wish that there was a little more to the game as stated earlier.

I love any Sims game - this game for my PSP was a little disappointing - it does not compare to any computer game - it does not have the details that anyother Sims games have - it is fun and I would recommend buying it - it is fun to have a game I can take on the go

I have played this game on the PC before i bought it for the XBox360, and i must say i am dissapointed at the translation from PC to console. the interface prior to starting the game is "whack", hard to tell which race or team you pick if you are not 100% into the LotR series i guess. only supports 4 teams on Console Versus 8 on PC which takes the epic battle you would expect to a lower level. the game is not bad at all, just dissappointed a bit at how easy they seemed to have made it on themselves to put it on consoles. tiny bit of lag when you first start the actual game but graphically exceptional quality. i would recommend this game if you have not played the PC version of it.

I really tried to get to know and play this game. I am a big fan of the "dynasty" modes in the college sports games. I played this game for a few weeks, but haven't touched it in over a month. This is probably a much better two player game than a single player game.
The gameplay is frantic, spastic, unrealistic and it's hard to follow the ball. I gave up on trying to control a player because I couldn't keep them anywhere near where they should be. Dick Vitale's in game comments get old real quick also. "Mumble-Mumble, way to shoot the rock, BABEEE!!!"
So I decided to just sim the games. After beefing up my schools player ratings (cheating), and adding a mammoth 7'4" center with maxed out ratings (cheating again). I then tried the dynasty mode three seperate times. I Won the National ... Read More

This game is awsome. It has great graphics. It gives you a great variety of cars to choose from. It has four types of racing. Drag, Drift, Grip, and the new Speed Challenge. It has many tracks for each race. It also has spectacular detailed damage capturing technology. But when you damage a car, you pay for the repairs. Multiplayer is fun aswell. EA made a great street racing game.

I follow both EA and 2k sports basketball games....as I am an avid basketball fan. Both offer unique styles of gaming. Seeing no review of this game made me write a brief one.

NBA Live 08 is a great game. I would consider it the first next-gen basketball title to date. The graphics are very polished, textures and all, and is by far the best looking basketball game made to date. The updated physics are great, much more realistic than the past Live games of the series.

Dynasty mode is great as usual, all-star weekend is great(3point contest and slam dunk contest), practice mode, and so many others. The variety of modes is a good add on. The online play is great, with online leagues that work great, never having to play at a certain time or set schedule.

I only bought it for the roster updates. Controls are a little new. Prefer that of 07 but its manageable.
