First, let me say I've played this games since 02. Here are some points I have not seen mentioned which are minor glitches, yet they appear every year it seems. 1. The Drive Summary is always wrong (yardage amount) 2. The Offensive Line Blocks Terrible - Your 95 OT will get beat about 5 times by a 80 DE. 3. The amount of Pick 6's are ridiculously high 4. I don't see much improvement in recruting this year. They cleaned it up, yet it is much the same as 08, as such it is a bit to tedious. New-Good 1. The animations seems more polished and better looking. 2. Tell me why the Championship game cannot even put your Logo in the endzone??? 3. The Computer is somewhat smarter on the Heisman Level 4. So far one of the best of the Madden games ever made the best part is the your skill level play. it also fun playing some old school Madden to realize how far we have gone.

A good deal, worth the money just for Half-Life Episodes One and Two alone. Portal is a great game as well, although it doesn't have as much excitement as Half-Life it is still quite entertaining.

Mom is seldom the one fighting to play the video games. Usually she is frowning and complaining that there are chores or homework or anything else more useful. But this is the first game Mom saw and thought "maybe this is ok". The games require some coordination in addition to logic and planning. The violence is equivalent to knocking down a house of cards or blocks, only more exciting. It's a winner

I bought the Collector's Edition because I thought it was a great deal. I hadn't played Madden religiously for a few years. I was ready to dive back in. I wanted the Xbox version, but the friends that would actually play on-line only owned PS3s. So I gave up the achievement love and got the PS3 version. I was hesitant because last year's PS3 version ran at a slower frame rate. I did some quick research and I didn't see reports of any differences this year. Before I called my buddies up, I wanted to try a quick game. I jumped in and started playing like I never stopped playing. The game played almost exactly the same as 3 years ago. They spent way too much development talent on creating items to buy such as fancy clothes, clubs, attitudes, etc., and not enough on actual game graphics. Putting is awful. You frequently can't see the hole clearly. The freebe (Wii Sports) that comes with the Wii has better putting graphics than does this program. My husband, an avid golfer, is NOT pleased and would NOT recommend the game to anyone who knows how to play golf.

Another year.. Another Tiger Woods golf game. Every iteration they do a little to mix up the game. Most of the times it is not worth buying every year. I try to skip a year or two inbetween before checking out the updates. This year it is turn for Tiger Woods golf. A few interesting tweaks to the true and tried formula of Golf. The new shot mechanism feels lot more satisfying. With the craze of personalized golf clubs... the game also allows you to tweak and tune your club. It is not like Gran Turismo level of tweak and tune. Just a baby step in that direction. Graphics are certainly improved. Animation, Physics, Audio are still very similar to PS2 version. Based on the reviews.... this game sounds really fun. But what i want to know is does it require xbox live? None of the reviews mentioned this.

This is a significant upgrade for the PS3 from NCAA 08, so if you are debating whether to buy the new version my answer is "Most definitely, buy this version". The player control is smoother, greater attention to detail with the stadiums, crowds, etc, and the mascot challenge is an enjoyable break from the action. From the moment I broke it out of the plastic I haven't been able to put it down. Once you have configured the game for your team, there are even unique pictures for that particular team that you will recognize if you went to that particular school. One minor glitch I have noticed is that occasionally when reviewing your play call on the field, the receiver routes will get all wavy (best way I know how to describe it) and the receiver designation will appear as a question mark, rather than circle or square. ... This game is amazingly fun and addictive. I'm disappointed only in myself for not having picked it up sooner. I didn't play enough of the demo to really understand how awesome it is. For those of you who like building your own rides and customizations, this isn't that type of game. You win cars through races and running others off the road, and you might get a paint job you like by running through a paint shop. That's it. Highlights, since most people covered aspects of the game ... Online is great. What I didn't like about GT5:P was that the online play was choppy. Here, it's smooth and quick. Hardly any waiting at all. The worst thing is that you might get dropped into a map where you're on one side of the city and everyone else is on the other.
