I bought this game last week, and along with Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway, it's my new favorite video game. A few people have said that it's not as good as this MOH game or that MOH game or some other game from another series, but if you take it as it is it's actually a very good, fun game. Though it is true it is a relitively short game (six levels) it has remarkably replayable. It's not a game where you play it once through and then turn around and sell it. You can try dropping in in different points on the map or upgrade all your weapons which unlocks a few special features. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 is quite simply one of the best golf games ever. I am really into first-person shooters (Battlefield 2, Rainbow Six), racing games (GTR2, Race 07 WTCC, Need for Speed), and adventure games (Oblivion) and found it easy to become immersed in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008. The graphics are very detailed and precise. The scenery is gorgeous and everything runs smoothly with full details (on the auto adjustment setting) on a P4 3.0 GHz rig with a Radeon X1950 GT. The sound quality is top notch. The ambient noises such as duck quacks and bird chirps immerse the player in the golf environment. Mercenaries 2 is one of those games that is simply there for the fun factor, it's not necessarily there for the storyline or depth. It is just there to give you a hell of a crazy and over the top game that you can just pick up and go nuts with. There's not much to say about it as, like I say it's not very deep in regards to a storyline. Your basic goal is to win the trust of factions and do jobs for them, blowing up buildings, collecting bounties etc. That's basically it and depending on who you are it depends on you carrying out the mission covertly or with all guns blazing. the game is pretty good, it has fiba teams and graphics actually did looks like it improve more than last year version, it doesnt have online but it doesnt really matter, it really is entertaining, the control scheme change a bit, with more controls over those freestyle dribbles, the bad is that the game goes so slow, even when you are running, it looks like your walking the whole game, just change the speed of the game in the preferences and it will be fine. Roster update is not really updated, missing some new rookies etc buy it for NBA on the go!

As has been noted by others, the installation is awful. I can't believe that I was required to open an account online just to install and play the game. I guess I will have to be more careful and review games in the future to make sure I do not purchase games controlled by Steam or any other third party vendor. I would have no issue if Steam was voluntary, but this was not voluntary. It made my install take 30 minutes because I couldn't understand why my install placed Steam on the hard drive and not Portal. I uninstalled and re-installed the software, but instead of getting Portal, Steam was installed again. Eventually I realized I had to do a second re-install after Steam was installed to get Portal on, but not until the software directed me to setup an online account with Steam. This is grossly ... My kids wanted this for Christmas and have enjoyed playing the game. My kids are older but would recommend that you do not give this game to younger children.

As far as gameplay, this game delivers on several platforms really pushing the player to their arcade racing abilities. this could have been the best Need For Speed ever but there are several aspects that started to annoy me. the first thing is that when you actually do finish the game, even 100%, you do not get the then named Audi LeMans Quattro (R8), you don't even get to choose any prizes from the "boss" at the end like everyone else! there are also cars and objects that you HAVE to play online games to get! one of my main arguements against this game is that once a race is over the prize money DRAMATICALLY reduces! this makes it next to impossible to buy a new car....actually it just takes FOR-EV-ER! this game has next to no replay value whatsoever. as much fun as this game is once you DO fully modify a super car, it ends ...
