Bottom line this game is an over the top, arcade paced, survival horror action game that rocks! Just make sure you always carry a shotgun. It's easier to take out more zombies with the shotgun. Especially when you have zombie barf on you and you can't see anything.

My boys, ages 5 and 6, desperately wanted this game. We have Nerf Wars at home all the time, and they were originally thinking you shot nerf darts at the tv as part of the game. Anyway, we purchased the game, and they have played it for quite some time. The first thing I noticed is you can not purchase the game without purchasing the kit that includes the "gun" which holds the wii remote. It would have been more economical to have had the choice to leave it out, as the gun makes no difference to the game. Secondly, if you wanted a second gun (we have two young boys!) there wasn't one available to buy. As for the gameplay, there are boy friendly graphics and sounds. You unlock Nerf weapons along the way as you score points. The boys like seeing what weapons they earn and how they fire. If you have problems passing ... Read More

The graphics aren't so good and it is hard to attack with your stylus, and the adventure isn't so entertaining.I recommend you rent it at a local Blockbuster and try it out like I did and if you like it then buy it.

I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. After I gave it to her I didn't see her for quite awhile. She is still heavily playing it after several days. Her 11 year old sister likes it too. The pets are adorable like the toys and the animation is wonderful. You unlock pets and mini games and items as you go along through the game. This game has a lot of variety. My daughter enjoys the coloring game. You play the games and get awarded ribbons and kibbles as points. There seem to be quite a few games to keep the kids interested. You can name the pets as you unlock them and try to collect them all. New locations are unlocked too. I would recommend this no fighting, non violent kids game, especially if your kids are or were into the Littlest Pet Shop toys. There are play sets to play on and different ... Read More

When it has come down to video games, they honestly have become the latest things since sliced bread, especially with the Nintendo Wii. Since it came out in 2006, the system has really changed the way we play games at home. But, what about classic board games? Well, within the past several years, it feels like they've been replaced more and more today, with families spending less and less time with love and care. While Hasbro has constantly been advertising Family Game Night on television, it still is very sad that the love isn't there for kids to have that quality time. Now, Hasbro is going interactive, and trying to bring new life into the classics from the Parker Brothers, and Milton Bradley libraries for the Wii.

Hasbro Family Game Night for the Nintendo Wii, brings a compilation of classic games to a ... Read More

the dual controller action is more fun than the standard/normal control pad. gives you a whole new experience. take a little time to get used to it. but, once you're used to it, it's a lot more fun.

First, the game's concept is awesome.

Second, the implementation is crap. For example, you would think that if you wanted to create a warlike creature, you would gain some benefit by placing weapons and spikes all over the creature. However, this is not the case. It doesn't matter if you give him a dozen spikes, he will do the same damage as a pacificist blob with no spikes. Where is the role playing experience here? The only thing your design changes is the way the creature looks, not his stats or abilities... thus its a dumbed down evolution sim. Imagine Darwin's surprise when the monster shark that evolved huge jaws and teeth was killed by a pacifist sloth...

Finally, this is an EA title, thus it installs SecuROM, which is a hidden rootkit which you are unable to uninstall and causes ... Read More

My daughters 5 and 7 totally freaked over this game. Finally, a fun girl game for the wii. You get to collect pets, earn 4 different "zones" to play in, tons of mini games, and dress up galore.
If you are looking for a gift for girls age 5 - 8 this is a no brainer. My five year old would have played this 24 hours a day if I would have let her.
My only complaint, the game is easy to "finish". It took my five year old only a week to get all the pets, all the areas and most of the items. However, the game can be picked up again for the mini games and change of outfits.

I own the PS2 and the Xbox360 versions of Madden 2009. The XBox360 version is beautiful, yet unplayable. The game engine is sooo poor. Recievers regularly running out of bounds. Zero run blocking, not poor blocking, zero blocking. The blocking intelligence does not work in this game. Way too often an offensive lineman runs around people instead of blocking them. QB accuracy is a joke. Perfect accuracy too often and then can't hit the broad side of a barn when the game is on the line. Horrible. Beautiful graphics though. Excellent animation. If the game play of the PS2 version could be combined with the display of the Xbox360 version, we'd have the best Madden ever. I love playing the PS2 version. Not at all like the 360 version. Fun Fun Fun! With poor graphics... and sometimes slow frame rates. I played the ... Read More

I've been a fan of the sims since the very first one. When it came to the wii I was elated. Although this game differs from the usual sims style, it is still tons of fun to play. I agree with the other reviewers as far as loading goes, huge improvement.
