This game came out around the time Total War did. So, it didn't get the ratings. Everybody knows how good (and more expensive..) Total War is, so rather than compare it with TW, I'll mention just the well dones and need improvements here: 1. Awesome, but simple, map of Europe. 2. Not an overwhelming number of units (attrition rate is clear cut - one man is one man) 3. Battles are super (except AI tends to charge and not outflank) 4. The research tree is way cool (but takes too many turns, esp. at the beginning, where the game moves slowly) 5. 5 countries to build into empires (should unlock countries taken over, but no problem really since you can use their troops) 6. Game is modable, but good luck figuring out directions (in Spanish). This game would have been a huge success ... Read More

when i first bought this game i was a little disappaointed in the fact that it did not hav a multiplayer game type and also that there was absence of a tutorial but i mean the graphics are great amazingly realistic explosions realistic blood and overall good missions THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THIS GAME IS ..... THE WORST ENDING MISSION EVER!!!!! all you do is defend the lz and hospital of your camp while under attack escort the nurses to the chopper and hold off the vc and nva and then take cover as an airstrike flattens the camp in the ending cutscene u see ppl searching for survivors and only u and monty (a south vietnamese fighter) survive weakest ending ever. still how can u not rate this at least a 4??? great game bad ending

the graphics are great, but the 2 player game mode is limited it is a fun game for awhile, but I lost interest in the gameplay after a few hours

Timesplitters 2 is an amazing game and very fun to play for many reasons, one of them being the game has soo many characters you can play as in multiplayer mode! A large amount of these characters have to be unlocked, and it's no easy task to do so, but you'll have a lot of fun collecting them all--- or just get extremely frustrated in some cases. The story mode is good, and some levels are more fun than others. Each level takes place in a different time period. One level you'd be in the past, the next in the future somewhere. Some of my favorite levels to play are: Siberia Notre Dame Neo Tokyo Wild West The weapons are terrific and there are loads to use!
