191.Nervous Brickdown from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : Nervous Brickdown
It's just like Break Out. So don't expect too much. But the DS version has added enough to make it fresh and fun. If you aren't the best at Break Out, prepare to get stuck. A lot. I get very frustrated with this game and have to put it down or I will throw my DS. I don't have the most patience, so maybe it's just me. Other then the frustration level, this game has enough to keep you busy for awhile. The $19.99 price tag makes it even more sweet. If you like puzzle games, Nervous Brickdown is a must have for your DS collection.

Video Games : Crash n Burn
It's a fact that I like crash racing games. So that's why I wanted to give it a try. I was pretty sure it wouldn't be as good as Burnout 3, but thought it would still be fun. So I went ahead and rented it and turns out this game is awful. The graphics, crashes, speed, and fun pale n comparison to Burnout 3. I have very few positive things to say about it. The customization is cool and I like the detail in the environments. Other than that though, this game is just awful. What's so bad about it?

1. The cars. They look bland, not very detailed, and very similar to each other in races.

2. The commentary is almost muted, repetitve, and annoying.

3. The crashes look bad. Especially in the beinning of races when the cars are rubbing on each other. It's just silly. ... Read More

Video Games : Gangsters (Jewel Case)
I bought this game almost one year ago and I still like to play it (Such games are rather rare).
This game is so realistic! You give your orders at the start of a working week or during the weekend. This is realistic, because in the real world you can't be everywhere at the same moment and you can't give orders during your working week.
It's still fun because every game has different gangsters and the maps are each time randomly generated. No two games are the same.
If you want a game which will keep you busy for a while and you don't want to spend much money on it (only 10$!), I would say: BUY GANGSTERS

I had seen relatively negative reviews about this game, and how it is plagued by faults, and it is faulty, don't get me wrong. But through all it's faults, there is much more to this game than one might believe. As someone who occassionaly buys a game despite overwhelmingly bad reviews, I've learned that many people give bad reviews because of something not being perfect, some people can't be pleased no matter what. Then, there are the games that are completely hyped, and once I play them, my disappointment leads me to believe people are stupid. For instance, for many years a game called Metal Gear Solid was raved about, but once I played the remake for Gamecube, I was left with one of the most boring games I've ever played. I first saw content of this game atleast 6 years ago, but never got around to playing ... Read More

198.EIDOS INTERACTIVE Legacy Of Kain: Defiance from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : EIDOS INTERACTIVE Legacy Of Kain: Defiance
_Legacy of Kain: Defiance_ was a step into new genres for me. First, this is the first fantasy-themed game I've played since _Thief_. Second, it is the only hand-to-hand combat game I've played since _Enter the Matrix_ (which has some great fights, no matter what other flaws it might have). I have to say that both of these switches worked for me. The sword & sorcery setting is done nicely, with plenty convincing magic and powerful combat moves. The enemies are varied and visually impressive, though aren't all that smart, making them pretty easy to defeat in droves. The look of the landscapes and graphics in general are good, if a bit dated. The storyline is exciting, with plenty of drama and some nice twists at the end--maybe one of the better plots I've seen in a game in any genre. And the switching between ... Read More

199.Ian Livingstone's Deathtrap Dungeon from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : Ian Livingstone's Deathtrap Dungeon
Although the controls are a bit "clunky", I hooked up my game pad and went right at it!

This game is a third-person adventure that takes place in underground dungeons (no way?). You have the option of 2 main characters, either amazon Red Lotus or barbarian Chaindog. In the game, you take the role of an adventurer seeking riches. You may reach this goal by fighting through hordes of monsters and surviving the various [...] traps of said underground dungeons, after receiving an invitation to do so by the wizard who owns it.

That basically sums it up. Its full 3d, with Software rendering and DirectX hardware acceleration. Meaning it runs well on old laptops and such. The controls are hard to get used to, but once you get it, you've got it. The baddies are nice and tough, making this a game you can enjoy for ... Read More

200.Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation
This CD of Tombraider 4 is a must for any collector of the Tombraider series. The one I purchased can be played on a computer that is WindowsXP. The older games, like this one usually will only work with Window 98 or even 94. It's difficult to find older versions of the games that will play on my current computer, but I found it here at Amazon, and I am very pleased with it's performance.
