The problems start with loading the game. It took a call to their help line with the usual long wait to get the problem fixed. The game has as much to do with the Napoleonic Wars as growing tomatoes. I wanted a strategy game for the period 1799 - 1815, what I got was a highly flawed RTS game with little resemblance to history. Sorry, but save your money.

Blood Omen 2 is a good game overall, which is hard to find these days. The story is intriguing and the characters are interesting. Let's break this game down: GRAPHICS: I give the graphics 3 out of 5 because I don't believe the graphics are to the standard we expect of an X BOX game. The graphics don't look much different than the PSX. CONTROLS: I give the controls 3 out of 5 because the controls are easy to master; however, even with your gained powers throughout the game you can't do much. You continue to hack and slash the same way throughout the game all the way to the end. Also, it is difficult at times to fight several enemies or enemies with armor as they have special attacks they use frequently that you can not block and in some cases can't dodge. ... Read More

I used to love this because the graphics were great with the best cenery seen in a Ninja game on the PLAYSTATION. The problem is you collect power ups for your shurikuns(throwing stars)that make them pretier and powerfuler, when you die you have to look for more treasure chests as you progress through the game. I've recently bought NINJA GAIDAN for XBOX and that game reminded me of this with the great cenery and graphics.

It was easy enough for me to get used to the control scheme but have a friend who has the game to and he could never get used to the controls so some will get it and for others it will be awkward. The missions can range from intuitive to needing a guide or internet help. Fun but not really breaking any new ground. Recommended if you are looking for an RPG with shooter elements but not recommended if you are looking for a shooter.

This game is pretty decent. It's a little different than most Diablo clones, you can play it with a controller. You get combos as you level up. It's a little buggy, I don't think it jives with Windows XP. I reinstalled windows because while trying to get the video to work right, I corrupted stuff. It turns out all I had to do was click off the "slow gameplay" button in the options. It made the menus and the game stutter like crazy with it on. With it off the game ran a little too fast, but it was tolerable. Kinda crappy graphics, but its an interesting game.
