Video Games : Thief: The Dark Project
I purchased this game before, but the discs were damaged and defective. I was shocked when I found this game for such a cheap price at Amazon. This gave me the benefit of the doubt because I figured I'd have to buy the compete store box version which is much more expensive. The game runs smooth on mose video cards I have used. One computer I had created problems in texture mapping so the world seemed completely coverd in snow. Given this game runs on XP and loot lists along with walkthroughs are avalible online so its a great pick. Some later versions of the Thief series allows user made levels to be availble for download. This might also be compliant with this game. Two thumbs up!

I like cheesy B horror movies, so when I saw the title "Escape from Bug Island" I knew I wanted to own it.

The graphics are really wonderful, not 'cartoonish' compared with many wii titles. The story is good to me. (It has a little love story to it) So far I like the game a lot! :o) I haven't had the control issues that I've read about here. (You may wanna up the sensitivity of your sensor bar)

I think the game is well thought out. You don't just swing your wii remote around all crazy & attack bugs - each type of bug has attacks that are best to defeat it. You collect weapons & food while searching the island for your friends. It's kind of like a mystery I've found a few clues that are to be left behind by others who have visited the island.

It's a fun game ... Read More

Video Games : Legacy of Kain: Defiance for Xbox
The graphics on Defiance blows away any other Legacy of Kain game. The Final Chapter (for now at least)proved to be the best overall game of the series. I would play the game all over again

My son loves bionicles very much, and when he got this game he couldn't stop playing it. He likes the different characters and enjoys playing. It is only a 1 player, so that is it's only downfall.

I absolutely love Lara Croft and I like anything to do with her. These 3 games may not have the best graphics, but I think mixing both the genres of action & adventure is a great way of creating an excellent game. With these 3 games in a triple pack, it's excellent value. You get to spend time with Lara, plus you save money. BUY IT!!!

I used to love this because the graphics were great with the best cenery seen in a Ninja game on the PLAYSTATION. The problem is you collect power ups for your shurikuns(throwing stars)that make them pretier and powerfuler, when you die you have to look for more treasure chests as you progress through the game.
I've recently bought NINJA GAIDAN for XBOX and that game reminded me of this with the great cenery and graphics.

I am having trouble determining why this is being called a Latin GTA when all the vehicles more or less play the same way? A little hand-braking and every vehicle I borrowed flew into an exxagerated 360 donut
(can't say stole b/c every 'victim' decides to 'shotgun' with you & patiently wait should you leave the car for a second. Very generous of you, Pablo.)
The Max Payne-ish references are accurate, though. And the power-up extras are hillarious in their stupidity. C'mon, PINATA BOOM-BOOM: having blood-thirsty guerilla mercs stop from gunning you in hopes to find candy that's really a (*gasp*) bomb in a pinata?

The Mexican city backgrounds seemed too bland to really look believable...'til I visited a few in real life. And GTA gives more interraction with hookers and porn shops... unlike ... Read More

I had seen relatively negative reviews about this game, and how it is plagued by faults, and it is faulty, don't get me wrong. But through all it's faults, there is much more to this game than one might believe. As someone who occassionaly buys a game despite overwhelmingly bad reviews, I've learned that many people give bad reviews because of something not being perfect, some people can't be pleased no matter what. Then, there are the games that are completely hyped, and once I play them, my disappointment leads me to believe people are stupid. For instance, for many years a game called Metal Gear Solid was raved about, but once I played the remake for Gamecube, I was left with one of the most boring games I've ever played. I first saw content of this game atleast 6 years ago, but never got around to playing it because my computer can't ... Read More
