Being a Reservoir Dogs fan,I just had to have the video game for my PS2!!! Some did not like this game but I surely did!!! Great fun gameplay and 70's rock soundtrack, okay Michael Madsen is the only original voice on this game as Mr. Blonde, but it's still a cool rockin' game!!! So if you are a Reservoir Dogs fan,or a fan of action games, give this great game a try!!! Word to you parents out there, this game is for mature adults only!!!,( it's a very violent game),NOT for the kiddies!!! Two thumbs up!!! Five stars!!! A+

Glory days 2 has to be the best game ever made. It is a side scrolling adventure reminiscent of older games adults may remember from their past. The game reminds me of Choplifter, Rescue Raiders, and Wings of Fury. You are given the command of either a plane, or helicopter, or both. You must proceed across the battlefield supporting your ground forces, engaging enemy air units, or rescuing civilians caught in the middle. Personally, this game has the most "replay" value I have ever seen. Aside from the campaign and multi player aspect, the game has a build your own single battle option which keeps the gameplay fun for hours. You can change the landscape and technology level and can play however you want. Play on an island in the rain, a city at night with nightvision, or in winter in the middle of a blizzard. ... I thought that this was going to be a very boring game, all about building things and almost no action, but my friend said it was amazing and I decided to see what he was talkng about so I rented it and it COMPLETELY SURPRISED ME! The game is amazingly fun and very addictive, we played it with my friends from 7 to after 12 and were still having fun. The levels are very well designed so you don't get a feeling of doing the same thing over and over and over again. The vechile levels are a tiny bit dissapointing, but still fun to play. One very fun thing you can do is continuously switch characters, so you dont get bored with one character and each of them has special abilitys. My favourite person to play with is Yoda because he does a cool jump every time he attacks, and he can use the force, along with the other jedi. ... Read More

All in all this is a great game. I had this for Xbox originally, so I never had to deal with the alleged glitches. I hope I won't when I re-buy this for ps2. >< Anyways you are Kain, an arrogant, cocky vampire with a huge superiority complex. When the game starts you get your @$$ handed to you by some dude named the Sarafan Lord. Kain makes an alliance with Uma I think her name was. He goes across Norrath kills Sarafan, Hyldan, and a bunch of other things along the way. You get weapons, your weapons wear down, you throw it into the next body...repeat. The world of Nosgoth is actually beautifully done, and you could truly get lost in it. The sounds, the way people go about their business, it was a new and much needed facelift to Nosgoth. The only issue I really had with this game was that it wasnt so much a puzzle game as ... Read More

First off I have to say; Please don't make a game of a movie unless you have the actual likeness, voices, film clips, etc. (GODFATHER, I'm looking at you too...) That would have added soooo much to this game. It's a shooter, but a little different. You get a lot of cool (but sometimes repetitive) dialouge, characters, etc. The style and wit of the movie is there. I thought the controls were going to be confusing after going through the little training mission, but they were surprising easy and had a good feel to them. My only problem with the game so far is the need for a hostage most of the time. Without a hostage you're pretty much a sitting duck, so you either go psycho on everyone (which is sometimes very fun) or walk around with a gun to somone's head the entire time, which slows the pace of the game down drastically. ... Video Games : Virtual Resort: Spring Break
I purchased the Beach Life version (identical as far as I can tell) when it was still brand new and am still enjoying it today. It is a welcome break over the near monopoly that Maxis/EA has over the Simulation genre with the Sims and Sim City series.

While the graphics are par for what was released around that time, it was the gameplay that kept me hooked. Sure it had its faults, but with a small learning curve, I was building resorts like a pro in no time. I personally don't like sim games that you can breeze straight through and a couple of the scenarios did have me retrying them a few times before finally passing them.

The music in the game is pretty good for the game, mimicking something you may here in Cancun or Ibiza, changing tempos between daylight and nighttime hours. And the sound effects are a ... Read More

Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: LEG

When I first picked up and played Hitman Contracts I didn't know what to expect. I had heard many positive things about the game before, but had no clue it would turn out to be such an awesome game. One drawback to Hitman Contracts in particular is that it is somewhat of a sequel to Hitman Silent Assassin. Since I have not played any other Hitman games, I was a bit lost on the whole story line thing. Instead of worrying about who the Hitman was, where he came from and why he does what he does, I just went ahead and played the game. It is a "game" after all and if I want to get into something with a good story, I'll read a book!

Hitman Contracts is the third installment in the series and is a hybrid action/stealth type game. You can change your view from first person to ... Read More

108.Hitman Blood Money from: Eidos Interactive
May 30, 2006
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Hitman Blood Money
The good: Fantastic Level design, great AI, DETAILED levels - so much NPC action is happening all the time...SO MANY ways to complete each level with a great gameplay experience. After the "silent assassin" ratings are all earned, it's even MORE fun to go back and choose the weapons you want without worrying about too many kills, and playing the missions again. Once you've played it through one way, it's INCREDIBLE to see the other options the designers have in store.

The bad: A few minor control/gameplay issues - some small issues with sneaking/fiberwire (aiming system is a little too precise), same problem with poison. You're unable to inject someone with a syringe AS they're discovering that you're armed. So if you're sneaking up and they turn around and draw their weapon, your trigger action is immediately turned into a ... Read More

109.Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation from: Eidos Interactive
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
The 4th addition (or fifth if you count The Lost Artifact) is one of the better ones and comes in second to the fantastic Tomb Raider 2. The gameplay is interesting.

In this game, you are in Egypt and going through tombs and pyramids and such. The first level is a training level when Lara is like 16 or something of that nature. Features:

The most intriguing thing about this game is the ability to pass between the same stages more than once in order to get to another stage. The game offers a great challenge and the graphics are very good. There are minimal glitches. The storyline is incredible. The ending is a great one, also.

Not good for children. I thought it would be a great game for my son with time traveling. I saw my son and my daughter running around shooting and flamethrowing eachother and laughing when they killed eachother off. It really bothered me and I took it away. The graphics are pretty gross. Wait until they are teens to buy this one
