Video Games : Bionicle Heroes (Nintendo DS)
What a cool game! Instead of moving a tiny character on the screen the view is from your character's point of view. You can look around, up and down. Also there is a radar on the bottom screen that detects the bad guys before you even see them. There's lots of really creepy enemies like giant spiders and scorpions along with the big bad metal dudes just waiting for you to find them. Lots of exploring and cool graphics and the thing that I liked most of all is that is wasn't hard to get through the levels for a novice like me. Enjoy!!!

Video Games : Thief: Deadly Shadows
Although I was familiar with Eidos' Deus Ex series I had never heard of their "Thief" franchise until I had come across a used $12 copy (what a bargain) of "Thief: Deadly Shadows" at my local game store, and boy am I glad I shelled-out the bucks! Thief: Deadly Shadows is easily one of my ALL-TIME-FAVORITE video games, and I've been playing video games for nearly 30 years! Why I love this game so much is kind of hard to pinpoint. It's a little more linear than I prefer (I'm a big Oblivion fan), but somehow this does not affect my love for the game. The graphics and game atmosphere are outstanding. The play control is good (although it can get a little buggy at times). The AI is hilarious and is one of my favorite things about this game. The story is excellent. I don't know, it's just ... The game's good, probably better on a ps2 or xbox, sometimes a little harder to control on the PC. i have a game console for PC, but it takes a little getting used to. Great graphics, fun game.

Video Games : Bionicle Heroes
We bought this for our Bionicle-obsessed 8 and 9 year-old boys - just the audience I'm assuming the creators intended to appeal to. Out of the 4 games they received for Christmas, this fell to the bottom of the heap and became the one least played. It seemed difficult and frustrating to use. The boys did like the action, but their frustration led them to abandon the game pretty quickly.

On some tracks, there are 3 blue rings around be sure to collect these here are some of the shortcuts they open:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: After collecting the rings you will see the buch of boulders the the first tunnel disappear, this is a shortcut. But hurry! It goes away fast!

Splash Mountain: After collecting the rings you will see a grassy feild right after the big drop dissapear this shortcut goes away super fast so do it quickly.

Haunted Mansion: After the blue rings there will be a fireplace right beside the dining room table. A good shortcut.

Sometimes the creators will put in Mickey heads in the game, they are called Hidden Mickeys, because they're not really noticed alot. I only found 2 tracks with them.

Big Thunder Mountain railroad:

96.Praetorians from: Eidos Interactive

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Praetorians
Praetorians is mostly just fighting and trying to control villages. Its not that much of a strategy game. In Praetorians you can control either the Romans or barbarians. This game is like Celtic Kings: Rage of War but when you make troops you make them in units like 30 or 12 instead if just 1. The units in Praetorians can have formations like the testudo so it kind cool to watch troops march instead of running around like an angry mob. There is a pretty long Roman campaign. In this campaign you travel across the ancient world as the Roman army with great generals like Caesar, Crassus, etc. The sad part is that in this game generals, Centurions, etc. can't fight and are just there to get in the way so keep them in the back of your army. The campaign are based on Julius Caesars conquests and every several campaigns you unlock, ... Read More

Like other games that came out in the same time period e.g. Dues Ex, the Hitman Codenamed 47 will go down in history. Unlike FPS of today, the game takes skill and patience to play.

98.Legacy of Kain: Defiance from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : Legacy of Kain: Defiance
The graphics on Defiance blows away any other Legacy of Kain game. The Final Chapter (for now at least)proved to be the best overall game of the series. I would play the game all over again

99.Whiplash from: Eidos Interactive
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

>>More Details
Video Games : Whiplash
"Whiplash" is a truly entertaining and creative game. The graphics are detailed and the sound effects, including the voice work is top-notch and quite amusing. The controls are easy to learn and there are plenty of areas to explore to keep the gamer's interest.

That was the good, now for the bad: This game is so filled with glitches that the frustration factor is off the scale. It locks up constantly and you are left resetting time and time again. This problem totally ruins the game. Rent it before buying.

100.Shell Shock: Nam '67 from: Eidos Interactive

Video Games : Shell Shock: Nam '67
This game has riveting action and does attempt to convey the feeling of being in the middle of the Vietnam war. What prevents it from being excellent is that it tends to be repetitive. For instance, the mission where you enter the temple to kill the hated VC general is overwrought - it's the same type of firefight over and over again. The enemy AI is good, not spectacular; they tend to march forward in a line like zombies. There were too many times when I just got tired of killing enemies. It requires some creative thought, not alot. If your only going to play one Vietnam game, play the Conflict version instead.
