I spent a lot of time playing this game. Think Morrowind in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC, and that's what this game is about. If you aren't a fan of long dialogues and storylines this may not be the game for you. If you like a nice mix of action, adventure, and role-playing this game should be on your short list. It's one of my top games of all time.

Plain and simple, this game does everything that should have been in Oblivion. I played it for two years straight before i moved onto something else, i think that speaks volumes in itself.

This game is really alot of fun. Alot of people said that the keyboard controls are hard to deal with, but this is not the case. Like many others said, this game does indeed have some very high end graphics. I would not recomend playing it with a 128Mb graphics card. I use a 1Gb graphics card and it performs beautifully. I suspect that a 256MB or 512MB graphics card would work good. There are a few minor glitches but nothing really big. Overall this is a really cool game.

You are dumped (or possibly released) off a prison boat into the land of wierd plants, alien wildlife, and a mixture of inhabitants not unlike the menagerie from Star Wars...
All you know is that someone in a "nearby" town, directions to which you have been told but unfortunately forgotten, is looking for you and it might be a good idea to find out what this individual wants...

This game maybe hard to get drawn into, at least it was for me. The reason for that: there is no clear path shown for you, NPCs don't have convenient signs on them saying click me to continue!", in fact most of them seem downright scary and hateful.

Then you start asking them questions and start to learn... options for what to do next emerge. You have better understanding of the inhabitants, the interconnections, ... Read More

Finally, a game that doesn't end after about three weeks. If you're looking for a game that could ultimately last you six or more months, then I recommend this one. The possibilities of this game are near endless and has re-play value.

The seller described the item very well and shipping was incredibly fast. Will buy from again.

Thanks!

Great game, once the controls were mastered. Extremely open-ended with a LOT of gameplay. Graphics are seamless and wonderful. Ship battles are exciting and a real challenge. Encountering storms is the most challenging aspect as it is difficult to master sailing in them.

All in all, with the amazing graphics, many side quests, customizable characters, and overall fun factor, this is a great game if you have the system to run it.

7.Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth from: Bethesda Softworks

This game has a lot of good ideas, and implements a number of them surprisingly well. In fact, almost everything innovative that this game tries, it succeeds at. Going insane feels like you're going insane, bolting doors and shoving bookcases in front of them to stop pursuers is adrenaline-pumping, having to treat the proper injuries that result from different ways of taking damage makes sense within the game, and the creepy atmosphere is so pervasive that you're practically suffocating on it throughout the entire game.

Where it goes wrong is the most trivial, inane, annoying details.

Checkpoint's frequently come only before extensive cutscenes (upwards of several minutes), or before long walks or tough obstacles, so if you make one mistake, not only have you lost all the progress since the last save, but ... Read More

i never bought myth III when it first came out for my puter was broken, now i have a new one but never got around to buying it cause 1. forgot i was made, and 2. herd it sucked a lot.

i finaly played it yesterday and to my amazement it was good and anoying at the same time. the developers were fired befor they could finish it and that is easy seen as the graphics were not polished neather were the sound effects. but the story and the music rocks. the 1.3.1 updats fond on http://www.mariusnet.com/ smooths it out a bit and makes the vids viewabule so that makes it 1 star better then what i was going to give it (2 orignaly) moveing the units is a pain in the but and the camra is anoying and the lighting makes it very hard to see for it is way to dark. other then that it is a great game with fave units and new ones, and made ... This game re-defined role playing gaming for me upon its release in the mid 90s. I still to this day, enjoy this game even above its sequels. That is, until Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is released, then I may be inclined to change my mind.
