If you are a hockey fanatic and you have always enjoyed hockey games, then you will find this game enjoyable. This game is not without it's flaws, but for a first crack at a hockey game for the Wii it's not all that bad. The point and click passing makes the game play come to life, and is a crucial part to what makes this game great. Another great factor is being able to swing your Wii remote and actually feel like your taking a slap shot on net. It's an awesome feeling to be able to blast a puck in the top corner. The graphics are lacking to say the least, but I don't feel that makes the game a total waste. I thought the game speed was good. A lot of people said that the game not having a better instruction book caused some frustration; however, I thought the in-game tutorials the game ... Read More

Anyone who knows me knows that I loathe, with an unhealthy passion, First Person Shooter games; well, to be more fair, the Army FPS, the Call of Duty series is so dull it's put me to sleep, not a fan of the Halo series either, as it seems to polished and over the top; BioShock is the anti-Halo, it's a murky, dark, disturbing, creepy and absolutely brilliant game.

Long has it been, actually since the first Fable game was released, that I was in such overwhelming awe of a game, but oddly enough, like with some of my favorite things it took some initial warming up to. I had bought a 360 with Dead Rising (disappointment) Overlord (waste of money) and this game, based solely on my cousin's comment of "you can kill little kids." I laughed and said "Alright, sold."

What I got, ... Read More

This is a product that screams inadequate beta testing or lack of real thought into some design aspects. It may become a good game after several patches but probably not possible.

As a preface, I am a long-time Civ player, but never played the prior version of Civ3 Colonization, so I am essentially a Colonization 'virgin'.

Some aspects of poor design to me include the following:
1) Recruiting of new colonists from Europe. The random selection of volunteer colonists is poor. These units can be 'rushed' but often cost as much as 5 times what it would cost to simply purchase the unit. This seems silly at best.
2) Inability to recruit 'regular' colonists who are not specialists, the rarity and inability to recruit indentured servants, and the handling of petty criminals (the European ... Read More

The game is amazing, the best basketball game for the PS3 that I have tried. Ordering from Amazon was a little frusterating this time. Although the shipping was considered free, the US Postal Service took twice as long as UPS or FedEx. Also, I tried ordering something else to include with this order almost immediately after placing it. Amazon said the order was already filled and I couldn't add anything else even though it didn't ship for 4 more days.

This is yet another amazing addition the the Elder Scrolls series. This has amazing graphics and is a huge improvement on Morrowind. It's easier to find your objectives, the story line is better, and the graphics are jsut amazing.

If you enjoy RPGs, and particular like Bethesda's games, then you must buy this. It has replayability because every time your character is different. I cannot remember how many times I've played it but a lot. It's worth the buy.

I bought BioShock about three weeks ago. After spending literally hours trying to "Activate" it (the part where you type in a long string from the package and the installer asks their server if the code is valid - in my case some settings in IE somehow prevented it from connecting to their registration server, even though IE could browse the net just fine, as could Firefox, and their installer stupidly rolls back the installation if the activation fails, hence hours) I was eventually successful.

I then played the game every few days, maybe ten hours total. It was fun.

Tonight I was again prompted to enter my activation code. Again. I suspect that this is because earlier today I installed Spore for my daughter, and both games use this half-baked SecuROM system. As it turns out, I am traveling (I'm playing from my ... Read More

This is a Good Game and if you want a Tennis Game than it is worth the money. The graphics are good, the game play is good - it requires a full swing of the wii remote. You must give the we remote a full swing, not a jerk like the wii sports - wii sports taught us a poor habit which must be broken.

Here are the problems with the game;
1. Game play is only good under Single Play or Two players on the same side, because it is NOT split screen - and it is too hard to play from the other side of the court. So you can't play a good friend vs. Friend game.
2. The serve is automatic, you only push a button and watch yourself serve.
3. If you swing to late or to early then the character does not swing, this is only a problem because it makes you feel like the controls are not working, it would have been better to let the ... Read More

This is the first and, to date, only game I have for the DS. I like it a lot. It's a scaled-down version of the console game, although it's mainly due to graphics. The actual gameplay seems to be fairly similar, although I've spent far less time on this than I have on the PS3 version. If you're a Civ addict, you'll want to pick this up. It's the only portable version (at least that I'm aware of - no PSP version yet), and it makes good use of the two screens on the DS.
