I got this game recently because I've always heard how great it is. I'm not a hardcore fighting game fan, but I do enjoy them from time to time. The problem is, being an older gentleman, I don't really have many friends who are into video games anymore, so I'm mostly confined to the single player elements in this game.

The thing is, this game looks like it was designed by a 12 year old on crack. There are literally a bajillion things flashing and moving around on the screen and the camera is constantly zooming in and out and panning all around to the point of melting my brain. Maybe it's just that I come from a different generation where I didn't need a million fireworks going off to be entertained. I don't know, but I don't find this to be an enjoyable experience. Video Games : The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I really had always wanted a zelda game, ever since I watched my uncle play ocarina of time on his nintendo 64.
When I got twilight princess as my first zelda game I was so excited, This game took me and my sister about a year to complete (when we took our time). Now I have almost every zelda game, but this one is my overall favorite, I absolutely love it! It has great graphics and a wonderful story-line.

This is one of the best mario games i have ever played. The graphics are amazing, the levels are long, and the game its self is long. This game is also diffrent from the regular marios, in this game instead of getting mushrooms and other things like that you have waterguns, It might sound wierd but trust me its very fun. If you are a mario fan or if your just looking to buy a mario game defenatly check this one out.

6.Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker from: Nintendo

Video Games : Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker
In early 2003, the first new Zelda game for the Gamecube was released in North America. It was called The Wind Waker. Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of The Legend of Zelda series, stated that he could produce a Zelda game for "All-ages". Here's my Review:

1. Story- Basically, Link lives on a small tropical island in the middle of a huge ocean called The Great Sea. When a gigantic bird appears and kidnaps Link's younger sister, he sets off on a quest to rescue her with the help of a magical talking boat called the King of Red Lions. There's much more to the story than that, but that's all I can reveal without the risk of giving away a spoiler.

2. Controls- The controls of the game are almost flawless. The Gamecube controller is easy to get used to with a Zelda title after playing Ocarina of Time ... Read More

9.Luigi's Mansion from: Nintendo

Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Luigi's Mansion
Luigi's Mansion was released at the launch of the Nintendo Game Cubes cycle.
Dating back to 2001, this title still kicks. A bit off the beaten path of former Mario style games, Luigi's Mansion was a mixed bag for some.

The graphics are dated, but the gameplay is still thorough enough to be worth playing. Many modern games strive on powerful graphics, when dated you realize many of the flaws. The game is mysterious, mild paced, overall good fun. The game itself can be completed rather quickly, but the first play through is highly memorable.

Controls are a little stiff, and there are no technical levels. Mario games emphasized level based objectives. While Luigi's Mansion still has objectives they are unlocked by further progression. The objectives are to rid a mansion of ghouls. To do so you are given a ... Read More

10.Metroid Prime from: Nintendo
November 19, 2002
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Video Games : Metroid Prime
I purchased a Gamecube just to play Metroid Prime. If I had never played any other game, it still would have been well worth it.

Great graphics, crisp controls. Excellent level design and atmosphere. Fantastic sound and music, with some re-worked themes from classic Metroid titles. Good replay value due to higher difficulty settings and the challange of finding all possible items/upgrades.

Although the control scheme classifies this as a First Person Shooter, this game is primarily about exploration and puzzle-solving, with a healthy does of combat to keep you on your toes.

In my opinion, a must-own for Gamecube fans.
