The expansion is very well done. The new content is inventive, engaging, and very well produced. So why only 2 stars? The new instances and raid content are way too easy. Blizzard didn't just dumb this game down, they emasculated it.

I'm particularly pleased with Microsoft Office 2008, because it enables me to download the Attachments I receive without any of the problems I had previously. It was a good investment for a 91-year-old woman who likes to keep in touch with family and friends.

First, the game's concept is awesome. Second, the implementation is crap. For example, you would think that if you wanted to create a warlike creature, you would gain some benefit by placing weapons and spikes all over the creature. However, this is not the case. It doesn't matter if you give him a dozen spikes, he will do the same damage as a pacificist blob with no spikes. Where is the role playing experience here? The only thing your design changes is the way the creature looks, not his stats or abilities... thus its a dumbed down evolution sim. Imagine Darwin's surprise when the monster shark that evolved huge jaws and teeth was killed by a pacifist sloth... If you play the game regularly, sure it's convenient to sign up with the bliz plans. But, why pay the tax bliz charges when you can pay the same rate (or better, if you normally go shorter plans) by getting this from Amazon? Always makes a great gift, and never spoils in the mail. Plus, with the recent release of the expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), your gamer may need a few of these.

Like Tiger before it, Leopard is worth every penny. Time machine works seamlessly (if you don't make the same mistake I did and use a LaCie drive for backup - it will fail sooner rather than later). Most new features are excellent. Unfortunately, the new X11 that ships with Leopard is badly messed up (at least when I installed it a while ago). Luckily, you can download the latest build from http://xquartz.macosforge.org is you need to use X11 professionally. Overall, Leopard is great and worth the upgrade!

If you have a Mac running OS 10.5.4 or 10.5.5 (or above) you should be aware that NONE of the Photoshop Elements software versions--including 6-- is compatible with it. It won't work.

I see lots of complaints on these and other boards. I have used this service since it's inception. Sure there are some bugs and annoyances. But it does the basic job. I have two desktops, one laptop and an ipod touch all synced with MobileMe. (Though I do hate that name.) Any change on any one device automatically gets sent to all other devices.

I bought VM Ware Fusion 1 and then upgraded to VM Fusion 2. The initial version worked fine and was most effective. As soon as I upgraded to Fusion 2, I received a notice of "failure to connect peer process." I have been completely unsuccessful at correcting the problem; so I cannot use my virtual machine. I have tried to get help from Smith Micro and from VM Ware. Smith says they cannot help because I bought the upgrade through Amazon. VM Ware sends you in every direction but one that offers assistance to the non technician. It is almost impossible to speak to a human being at VM Ware unless I sign on and pay for support, even though I have just purchased the basic and upgraded program. The result is I have a Mac and no ability to use the virtual machine and no ability to get direct ... Read More
