I have played all of the ND games and loved them all. Some more then others, but this is a good one. A bit spookier then the others, but the ending was not what I had expected. I guess that is a good thing, they keep you guessing. Some of the puzzles were difficult to understand what to do, but nothing impossible. Lots of places to explore: castle, huge grounds, and a pub. Hints are there, but handled a bit different. ;) Can't wait for the next one.

I just received this and the game is not working. The game starts, and I can click on everything on the main menu, except for New Game. When I do, it crashes and gives an error message. Tech Support, at this time, has not been established yet, so I went to the fourms. They have a board for tech questions and lots of people are having this problem. The companys answer to this is that we don't have the right video card. Here is the note taken from the site: NOTE: If the Name or Manufacturer lists SiS, S3, Intel, or Via, your computer has an integrated graphics controller which is not sufficient to run the game. I liked the original concept, and Ive liked every version since. Its just a great light hearted game thats both fun and will make you laugh as it pokes a little fun at the original movie its portraying.

Don't worry, no major spoilers! I have played every ND game except for the first one, the Final Scene, The Creature of Kapu Cave, and the latest one, the Haunting of Castle Malloy. Needless to say, I can compare this one to all of the other ND games, which have been consistently phenomenal. Even the older ones are quite good, so the newer ones have a lot to live up to. Pros -The Phantom of Venice has incredible scenery (of course, it's in Venice) but it was even better than Danger by Design, which was set in France. -The story was pretty good, and the plot introduced something new... This is not just another war simulator. I've played this game for several years, and it just gets better. The campaign has a decent story line and the levels themselves are really cool. The online play is why most people buy this game, because all of the races are equal and fair in competition, the units are really cool, and the tech tree is complex enough to give you some versatility. Not to mention that the game comes with an extremely comprehensive map editor so you can literally make your own melee maps from scratch, or your own scenario maps. The only downside this game has is its crashes on Mac. I run it on XP and Mac and the XP works great, but you will likely have to find one or two patches online to run the Mac version properly. Otherwise, one of the best games out there.

Me and my husband had tons of fun with this game, we got a copy for each of our computers and played the adventure together as a team. The graphics aren't the best but the story is good enough to keep me interested and the fun-meter was at the top of the chart.

The game is great, except for one little detail: the ending is hurried and part of the storyline is missing. With little warning, your character is sent to the end story, with story threads still incomplete. Apparently, the game was hurried into the stores in time for the holiday season. And the maker will not devote any time to fleshing out the ending now.

I read the low stars for this as saying MYST and Riven have errors, and won't run well on XP. I bought this, played them, and had 0 problems. Everything was beautiful, and the stress of popping in and out multiple CDs was a blessing. This never gave my DVD-Rom problems at now, no problems from XP, no problems from Quick Time, nothing! Then I have to say they are packaged nicely, and the making of videos are very nice. I just wish they could have included a poster or something to honor it, but you know what I love it. I don't know about all of you who got errors on XP, but I give this 5 stars, no questions asked.

This game was a lot of fun. The puzzles were logical and not to difficult. I hope they come up with a second one.

This is a great game with lots of action but its pretty hard to play on the keyboard, so be sure to get some sort of controller. there is lots of action and you dont even need a $70 video card to play because you can click on safe mode. have fun with it!
