Our 4,6 and 8yr olds love this game. Especially our 4 and 8yr olds. The only annoying part is that if there is multiple players and one player wants to talk to a person on the game the whole screen shows the conversation so the other players have to wait while the one person is getting his skiiing instructions. but in regular skiiing if there are four players the screen has 4 boxes a skiier in each.

I am a senior that loves playing Minigolf with my wife. So when I saw this game I had to have it.
Very disappointed. It can't be played like 18 holes of minigolf. There are 18 holes divided into 9 theme courses.
Three holes in each course. One Adventure hole that has a mimigame in it (not golf). One Challenge hole that has a number of diffrent paths.Like finding the right hole out of 6 that will lead to the right one.One Trick shot that you have to make a hole-in-one. Not skill just luck.
Some of these holes you just have to play over and over again to sink the ball with luck not skill.
All mini courses I have ever played you need alittle luck in but skill to get a good score. This one is all luck so you can't compete.Overall the holes can be fun and flusterating.

the dual controller action is more fun than the standard/normal control pad. gives you a whole new experience. take a little time to get used to it. but, once you're used to it, it's a lot more fun.

Short Conclusion First: Rent it first, see how you like.

On to the review, I really liked the Gamecube version. The game had endurance in it, still play it. Super Slugger doesn't. The Wii-ness of the game is simple, but fulfilling enough. Throwing, running, batting are well done. I should say base running takes some time to get used to. Their choice of how to control base runners is logical, however, not necessarily how you will be used to controlling base runners. Also in Toy Field, playing aggressively is a little different as well.. not as logical. You need to press B to hit a person. In other games a simple nunchuck shake would do that. Don't know why they went that route.

The big disappointment from a single player perspective is the Challenge portion of the game. The "Challenge" ... Read More

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 All-Play
This game is fun to play but much more of a challenge after playing the 2008 version. The putting is harder and to get a good swing in is more difficult even at the easy level. I can get really frustrated because I had gotten pretty good at the 2008 game and now I have to start all over again finding my nich. But it's the challenge that makes the game fun and trying to figure out how the the game is set up is fun and can be really frustrating at times. If you don't have patience and have the 2008 game keep playing the old one because this one is not easy. Good luck and have lots of fun with the game.

I was really excited about getting the game because of the integration of the balance board, and it's definitely lived up to my expectations.

The wii remote and the board work great together and coupled with the onscreen control aids learning how to do different tricks is a snap. The graphics for the game are suprisingly good for the wii, because I have to admit I was half expecting a mii to go flying down the slopes with me.

Finally the best part of the game has to be the unexpected work out you get. I've been snowboarding before and while I'm nowhere near as sore as I was from doing that, my legs know they're not just walking to the fridge.

It's nice to see nintendo coming out with more games for the balance board and this one is a definite must.

If you are a hockey fanatic and you have always enjoyed hockey games, then you will find this game enjoyable. This game is not without it's flaws, but for a first crack at a hockey game for the Wii it's not all that bad. The point and click passing makes the game play come to life, and is a crucial part to what makes this game great. Another great factor is being able to swing your Wii remote and actually feel like your taking a slap shot on net. It's an awesome feeling to be able to blast a puck in the top corner. The graphics are lacking to say the least, but I don't feel that makes the game a total waste. I thought the game speed was good. A lot of people said that the game not having a better instruction book caused some frustration; however, I thought the in-game tutorials the game offered were very useful and helped my game ... This is a great game. it is hard but easy at the same time. It is easy to find the animals and where to go, but it is hard to shoot the animal and get it down. there are so many things to hunt, and so many different places to hunt. It is a great game.
