While not the best thing to look at in the graphics department (especially during multiplayer races), this game manages to be extremely fun. The control scheme(s) are great, and while I am better when using the Wiimote/nunchuch scheme, I find myself wanting to use the Wii Wheel most often because it adds to the fun. The bottom line here is that everyone can enjoy this game, and the multiplayer never gets old. The best thing I can say about this game is that I will be playing it for as long as I own a Wii. A definite must buy for the Wii.

What's nice about Wii Play is that it's a combo package: one Wii Remote and the actual Wii Play game.

The game is intended for practice to get used to the Wiimote. Although some games don't make sense (Pose Mii game, in which you have to line up your Mii in falling bubbles), most are very fun. In my opinion, the Shooting Range and Tanks are the best of the mini games.

If you're going to buy another Wiimote anyway, pick up the Wii Play package; it'll add a little more fun to your console.

there are some interesting parts to the game (cd covers / playback) however i think it more for younger kids. adults may find it a bit slow especially ones that have rocked out with guitar world or rock band. i could live with or without it. maybe i need to give it more of a chance.

Rock Band for Wii overall is a fun game, but if you also own one of the other consoles this game comes out on, I would recommend getting it for that system. It's not that the one for Wii isn't fun, but it doesn't include some things that the other console releases have. Here are some of the pros and cons.

PROS:
*Rock Band has a great variety of songs
*It has four instruments, allowing for the whole family to play.
*It has a great variety of old and newer songs, so some older people might enjoy the selection.
*The guitar is wireless, giving you more room to "rock"
*The instruments are very durable
*The guitar's strumming bar is smoother and makes much less noise than the Guitar Hero guitar.

CONS:
*The game is very hard to calibrate with ... Read More

It's a good game....appropriate for kids, but fun for adults too. It's more of a puzzle-solving game as opposed to a shoot 'em up game, but the puzzles are fairly easy to solve (so the frustration level stays low). I really like the fact that two people cooperate to solve the levels. It makes it more fun - and allows you to play with someone without having to complete. Also, the different video clips are pretty funny as you work your way thru the levels.

I was a little worried about spending so much money on this game, but we love it! I LOVE Wii Fit but this is a nice complement, very different from Fit and also you have the chance to get a lot more upper body exercise. Other reviewers have detailed the games, I'll just say my kids' favorite is Mine Cart Adventure, I like Pipe Slider best, if you do it right your arms will burn!

The drawbacks are the mat can slide around a little from vigorous jumping, and you have to make sure you are hitting the right spot under your feet while looking at the screen. No big deal, and it's so nice to be able to JUMP and run, which you cannot do on the Fit board.

In addition, even if you love Fit, it is nice to be able to alternate days with other physical games so you don't get tired of any of them. ... Read More

It is no wonder that Super Mario Galaxy was the #1 game on Wii for some time! The game is great, with a new touch on an old classic.

The ultimate goal still hasn't changed: Mario has to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. But the similarity to other Mario games ends there. This time, Mario has to take to outer space, exploring dozens of galaxies in search of power stars. The power stars are used to power the Comet Observatory, a "space station" that Mario uses to get to other galaxies. After collecting enough power stars, Mario can go to the center of the universe to rescue Peach.

This game kept me coming back for more, and sometimes it was hard to put down. It is a must-have for Wii owners!

PS: One might see a similarity between Mario Galaxy and a previous Mario game on Gamecube: ... Read More

Here's what all of the fans and wishful thinkers out there need to hear: The game does not mimic your moves like you would expect. You'll find yourself chopping and pitching with no reason. Does it give you a workout? Yes... but an ultimately frustrating one due to the fact that your character is not responding as you are.

After buying this, I discovered that the game, like mostly ALL Star Wars games (sans Battlefront), is a cash-in, folks.

Our 4,6 and 8yr olds love this game. Especially our 4 and 8yr olds. The only annoying part is that if there is multiple players and one player wants to talk to a person on the game the whole screen shows the conversation so the other players have to wait while the one person is getting his skiiing instructions. but in regular skiiing if there are four players the screen has 4 boxes a skiier in each.

I love the AC series, and I owned the other 2 games. I anticipated this one since the Wii was released; have been very excited to see what new things are in store. There really aren't any, so far. The game is fun, and if you do not own the DS one and like the premise, it is probably a safe buy. If you have played Wild World, however, do not waste your money. The city that you can travel to is the main addition - it basically consists of things that were in the last game like the hairdresser, fashion shop, etc. The game has the same main characters including the turtle mayor, Nook, the bird at Town Hall. They seem to say the same things and the tasks are the same as the other games - you have to plant flowers/trees for Nook before you can shop there, shake trees for fruit, dig for fossils, make deliveries, etc. I haven't played long, ...
