The expansion is very well done. The new content is inventive, engaging, and very well produced. So why only 2 stars? The new instances and raid content are way too easy. Blizzard didn't just dumb this game down, they emasculated it.

Video Games : World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition
The extra doodads that come with the Collector's Edition are nice, but a month from now, will you really still want that Frostwyrm in-game pet, or that mousepad? Will you actually read the strategy guide after day one? I flipped through the original and TBC guides that came with the World of Warcraft Battlechest, and they helped me learn the basics of the game, but there's nothing in there that benefits my everyday gameplay; the Internet offers more comprehensive information, more quickly, than the books.

If you want a few new toys and a stylish box, buy the Collector's Edition. If you just want to play the game, buy the regular edition. If you're new to World of Warcraft, don't bother with Wrath of the Lich King just yet. Get the Battlechest (includes the original game, The ... Read More

I spent a lot of time playing this game. Think Morrowind in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC, and that's what this game is about. If you aren't a fan of long dialogues and storylines this may not be the game for you. If you like a nice mix of action, adventure, and role-playing this game should be on your short list. It's one of my top games of all time.

First, the game's concept is awesome.

Second, the implementation is crap. For example, you would think that if you wanted to create a warlike creature, you would gain some benefit by placing weapons and spikes all over the creature. However, this is not the case. It doesn't matter if you give him a dozen spikes, he will do the same damage as a pacificist blob with no spikes. Where is the role playing experience here? The only thing your design changes is the way the creature looks, not his stats or abilities... thus its a dumbed down evolution sim. Imagine Darwin's surprise when the monster shark that evolved huge jaws and teeth was killed by a pacifist sloth...

Finally, this is an EA title, thus it installs SecuROM, which is a hidden rootkit which you are unable to uninstall ... Read More

When will they learn? EA is finally starting to put out some decent or even good games and they go and ruin it. I played the beta and thought it was quite fun, however I will NOT be buying this game. Say what you will about SecuROM being spyware, but there is no denying the install limit. I will not allow EA to tell me how to use my LEAGALLY purchased game.

I wonder what the suits at EA are thinking? Its obvious this has done NOTHING to prevent priacy (in fact it appears to increase it) so why is it still being used? I can download a FREE copy and install it as many times as I want, but if I pay for it I am limited to 5 installs! I know EA only cares about the money, but this still baffels me. What is the point in hurting paying customers when it does NOTHING to deter priracy? Maybe when they loose enough ... Read More

7.Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy from: Her Interactive

The Haunting of Castle Malloy is another well thought out programmed PC Game! I have never been disappointed with any of the Nancy Drew Series and this one is no exception. Again it educates in a most poignant way about the area or location of the world you are at. I literally had to search the internet to learn how to play and score in darts! And now I know how to play darts. I became quite the "Mixer" when I had to serve at the Irish Pub. Some parts are a wee bit tricky lass, like once you program the jet pack. If you are not in the location the game somehow needs you to be at you will explode and die but come back to life often.lol Also when you are jet packing about I thought I could fly up into the heavens...not so I lost fuel and had to be given another chance. Look I am an adult and I never leave any nancy ... Read More

What makes this a great game is the multiplayer aspect. This game is not designed to appeal to strict single player style. Although the game does not have loads of content, the replay value for the game is really outstanding.

The content in the game is detailed and well polished. Each character has around 1000 voice recordings of good voice acting that helps also. The messages left by other survivors are also a nice touch. There isn't a lot of fluff and filler. I have played through the entire game with friends and it was relatively short lived (6.5 hours), but incredibly fun.

There is no crazy DRM that limits how many times you can install the game, and steam provides good support with the product so far. The demo alone had about 4 or 5 patches in the first week that were automatically ... Read More

I purchased this for my 3 yr. old son beacause he was always taking his older brothers GameBoy. I am amazed by the graphics quality of this game. All the controls are simple and intuitive. There are no additional games to buy so it stays simple. There are even a headphone jack and a vido out jack on the game so you can connect it to a TV! (The cable is not included)

This is a steal at $25.00 for a yonger boy or girl.

Warhammer Online is a great game. It's only been out for a short time now and already has over 1 million subscribers. The RvR (or Realm versus Realm) experience take player versus player combat to a new level. There's a game here for everyone, whether you like to play alone, with groups against the game or with groups against other people.

They are already about to release several new classes and we're not even 2-months into release.

I already bought a 6-month subscription and I know that's only the start.
