I've purchased many Kingston flash drives, and I've only ever had one DOA (though they issued an RMA promptly - good service). It was a 2GB, and I worried about the quality of their higher-capacity drives after that. However, the price on this 8GB was good, so I took the plunge and bought two. I have not been disappointed with either one! In fact, the write speed is about twice what I usually see on my 1GB versions of this drive! Highly recommended, especially to those who don't want to bother with U3 or need ReadyBoost. This drive is a solid performer.

I really like this 8GB Flash Drive because it has room to back up all the necessary data from my computer and my husband's computer as well. (I removed the software that came on the drive.) I have 2 8GB flash drives. One stays at home and one in the bank box. I trade them out every month or so. That way we would have some sort of backup in case of a fire.

I purchased this flash drive because I filled up my 2GB Kingston Mini-fun drive and I needed additional storage. I use a Mac at home and a Dell PC at work and this drive works seamlessly between the two. One feature I love about the all the Kingston drives I have purchased is that they do not come pre-loaded with software that pops up and prevents you from fast access to files. I also like that it is retractable (no caps to lose). The only thing I don't like about it is way in which the drive could be hung from a string or keychain. I would recommend this drive for anyone who want an uncomplicated flash drive that does the job.

This has the makings of a nightmare, but I'm going to give everybody some time and the benefit of the doubt. I ordered the Acer Aspire One through Amazon this afternoon. The vendor was ANTOnline.
