Don't waste your time or money on this lousy 35 minute movie of a couple of girls surfing. Other than how to 'Duck Dive' with a long, or shortboard, you won't learn anything else. There are websites with free info on surfing that will teach you how to choose a board, get past the breaks, when to go for a wave, how to stand up, turn, drop, etc. Just go into search engine http://www.dogpile.com and type in 'learn to surf'. I am very much a novice and thought this DVD was instructional...well it ain't. If you really just want to waste your hard earned moola, send your money to me instead.

It is not only a fantastic surfing movie; it is a fantastic look at the world in 1968. They couldn't say what they say in this movie today. It would NOT be PC. There is nothing offensive about this movie socially, but the left wing PC'ers of the world would not let these guys describe the world so accurately. As far as I am concerned, this is the all time best manly movie about surfing around the world. Makes me want to walk out on my job, grab my son and surfboard and travel the world surfing!

After watching this, I felt I had a real feel for all the things I would need to get into surfing. The educational parts on the ocean and how boards work is something I will be reviewing forever. Always something new to learn each time! This show made me laugh and I found myself humming the music after!

This is the coolest video I've seen. It has all the best girl surfers, snowboarders, skiers and skateboarders and they are ripping it up! I never knew girls charged so hard - and in gorgeous places like Tahiti, Hawaii and Alaska. Also the soundtrack is awesome - I play the video just to listen to it sometimes. Anyone who is into board sports and especially any girl will love this video. Its got some great interviews and some super funny clips in the credits! Some of my favorite girls were Victoria Jealouse, Karleen Jeffery, Serena Brooke, Layne Beachley, Prue Jeffries, Jamie Burge and Cara-Beth Burnside.

the actual product was good, but the video was not what i was looking for! I did order the movie, but i was hoping it was a different one! The movie was made like 20 years ago so i cant remember the exact name! just guessing!
