INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK This film is the classic and quintessential "Indiana Jones" film. Great storyline, top-notch acting, rousing music (especially the famous "Raiders March"), hair-raising action sequences and superb directing. Rated PG for action violence and mild language. INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM The second (though chronologically the first) movie in the series is the darkest in the franchise. Of all the actors of the 40s who made WWII-themed films, Errol Flynn was second only to John Wayne in raising critics' ire for 'winning the war single-handed'. His civilian status was ridiculed, although Flynn HAD in fact, attempted to enlist, but had been rejected (despite his robust appearance, it was discovered he had an 'athlete's heart', plus traces of malaria and TB he had contracted in his youth). Could have been really good as a kids' movie, but contains some language that I don't want my little guys (elementary-school-aged) to hear. (A bad guy says, "I'd/I'll kick your a--!" In another scene, a good guy says, "What the H--- . . . ?")

Goldfinger Sean Connery returns to play the super-secret-agent fot the third time, following Dr.No and From Russia with Love. I saw this in my Dad's home-theatre. He is, a great Sean Connery Fan and has all the Connery films in his collection. Gert Frobe is the villian of the title in the company of Oddjob. Bernard Lee returns as M and Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny. The script by Paul Dehn and Richard Maibaum is well plotted and entertaining. But the best part is still the titles. John Barry wrote the great music. Even in the tiny town of Coonoor, in the Nilgiris Mountain ranges, the film ran to packed houses, and Connery became a house-hold name.

Definitely one of the best Vietnam war movies out there. It is more about the psychological trama of the Vienam war which I liked. It can seem a little out there from time to time but that's to get the viewer to understand it from the main character's point of view. This is definitely not for the younger kids out there and it is pretty intense. It is a must have for any DVD collection. It is one of those classic movies everyone has to see at least once. The acting is amazing. Just an overall great movie.
