VHS : Tales From The Darkside Vol. 4
I love this series so much, I could watch it over and over again. This video has alot of good episodes, I love the first one. Once again I am waiting for them to come out with the real whole season on complete dvd collection!! Be aware of some sites selling this season on dvd, they have just recorded the season and burned it from a vhs or tv, they are not of good quality. This is definitly a show you would want to own!

VHS : Tales From The Darkside Vol. 3
This is another great show from the 1980's. More creepy than scary, and usually having a moral to the story at the end. I enjoyed this one back then--also "Amazing Stories" and "Tales From the Crypt" (which is a lot more graphic and scary). "Tales From the Darkside" was simpler, usually with few FX and a simple set, however, the stories themselves were interesting and original.

VHS : Tales From The Darkside Vol. 2
I used to love watching "Tales from the Darkside" when it premiered back in the 1980s. I thought it was even scarrier and creepier than "The Twilight Zone" (although it clearly owes much to the Rod Serling's creation). The episodes are rather hit-or-miss. Some are thought provoking; other episodes are banal.

This volume features some good episodes. "The Devil's Advocate" is a lesson to be learned for our modern day radio loud-mouths everywhere. "The Satanic Piano" has a great message; and while "Choice of Dreams" goes nowhere, it's interesting to see the great (not so late)Abe Vigoda use his "Godfather" experience to portray a ruthless gangster.

The quality of these "Darkside" tapes is not at all good, so caution to those of who prize audio/visual quality.

I was looking for this movie for a long time. I was thrilled when I finally found it on Amazon. I also remember watching the TV series back in the 80's. A young boy reads stories from a book to distract a witch who plans to eat him. This film has the very handsome, young Christian Slater; Deborah Harry from the 80's rock band Blonde; Steve Buscemi who played Mr. Pink in "Reservoir Dogs"; Rae Dawn Chong who also starred in "Quest for Fire"(another great film) and many other great actors. If you enjoyed "Twilight Zone: The Movie," you will definitely enjoy this film.

VHS : Martin (1978) Collector's Edition
Martin (John Amplas) is a lad with a serious problem. He simply must kill and drink the blood of his victims. Is he a vampire? A serial killer w/ an interesting twist? A compulsive blood addict? We are left to decide this for ourselves. Martin moves in with his cousin Cuda (Lincoln Maazel), who is totally convinced of Martin's vampirism. Is he correct, or just an overly zealous religious fanatic? Cuda bombards Martin with all the tired old anti-vampire stuff of legend, like crosses, garlic, mirrors, etc. to no avail. Martin fears none of these things. He is a complex individual who just might be schizophrenic, as his b&w "flashback" sequences could imply. But then again, he may be nosferatu as well! Either way, Martin is a murderer. His prey are drugged with hypodermics, then stripped and drained of ... Read More

VHS : Dark Half
This movie really only has one main cast member. He is Timothy Hutton. He has been in many films. A couple you may remember are Taps 1981 and French Kiss 1995. He is also in several films coming up 2008-09. Two are completed and five are still being produced. He actually plays two roles in the film. But I don't want to get ahead of myself, nor do I want to give away to much. Below I will tell you a little about the movie without ruining it for everyone.

This movie has a real mid - late 80's/ early 90s feel to it. It is set in Main. This only adds to the small town spooky feel. The movie is about a man who as a young boy likes to write. One day he is heading out to the bus when he passes out and is having seizures on the ground. Turns out he has something wrong in his brain. The doctors say it is something ... Read More
