Purchasing this video is a repeat offense on my part. My original 1987 tape wore out, and even though I probably have the routine memorized, I am purchasing this product again for the entertainment value that comes from watching Greg in action. I agree with previous reviewers -you absolutely feel a difference when you do this routine.

I LOVE this video and need to do it more often! My problem now is I have 2 little boys and when I get on the floor to do it, they want to get on top of me. BUT, if you don't have that problem this is for you. It has different levels of excercises, so there is something for the "new ab excerciser" and those with strong abs already. If your just getting started, workout 1 is the easiest and best for you, but don't be surprised if you can't get through the whole 10 minutes- it's hard, but you will see a significant increase in how much you can do within a week. She is great about reminding you to keep your lower back on the floor and doing the excercises correctly.

I love tamilee but this video is soo boring. My buns dont feel at all sore. It was a nice cardio workout but thats about it. I was hoping for more bun work since it is called BUNS of steel. I couldnt wait for the tape to be over. Ill never do it again, cause altho the cardio was good, i have dozens of step cardio tapes that are much more interesting :(

I suffered a terrible fall down the stairs of my college dring Setptember.My legs were badly injured,puffy,and black and blue.I couldn`t workout for about 10 days straight.I thought that I was doomed,I couldn`t go any longer without doing any workout tapes.I eventually grabbed this tape to start up again after my injury,I loved it.I got totally back in gear using this tape.I was hard at first,but I eventally started going tough the whole thing with no worry.Now I am back on schedule with my workout plan and my videos after the horrible injury.Tamilee goes through a series of great easy to follow,but effective moves on the floor.These moves target the legs,hamstrings,and glutes.It was hard at first after the accident to do all the moves,but after a few times I am back on track.This is a great workout for beginners,intermediate,and ... I LOVE that it is only 30 minutes long! Exercising has never been a joy for me. Getting noticable results from a short workout is a big plus! I agree with other people about the static bar on the bottom of the screen, it just won't go away. Other than that it's a decent tape. It dosen't make you feel like checking the clock to see when the torture will be over. It quickly produces muscle definition, unlike some other tapes. I give it four stars because of the static.

Lynne Brick leads you through this 30 minute step routine, she instructs one on one, but is friendly, enthusiastic and cues well. The choreography is pretty easy to pick up, you will see basic steps, v-steps, knee lifts, step kicks, over the tops, straddles, etc. She teaches one combination at a time and at the end of the workout you will do all of them one last time. She also gives options to increase the intensity should it become to easy, as well as options for keeping it at lower intensity. This video is from the early 90's, so the music is dated, but it's not too bad. The set is the same as most of the Buns of Steel series, which is plain but never bothered me. The only reason this video didn't get 5 stars is the pull-up bar exercise that most home exercisers don't have. Other than that, it's really good. Cory does 3 or 4 exercises for each body part, with 2 sets of 12 reps each. Regarding the review above, there is no need to pause the tape and do more reps because you are supposed to choose a heavy enough weight that you will not be able to do more than 12 reps. However, if you felt ambitious and wanted to do a third set you would need to pause (but I doubt you'll have the energy). The entire sculpting series is excellent- her chest, shoulders, and triceps being the best.

I bought this vhs at a local thrift store for $.50! I am a step fanatic and am always looking for great routines. This one has it all, cardio with sculpting with a band, and an ab routine at the end. She also finishes with a nice long stretch at the end. During the workout she is so encouraging and upbeat. The moves are easy to follow, and fun! I combine this with my other step work outs, and weight training. I do workout with weights too, but I love the band work. It gives you those long, lean muscles! I just have to say thank you to Leisa, because she is awesome! She makes you feel like you want to work out. This is a great one for variety, for begginers, intermediate, or advanced. An all over body work out in less than an hour??? I'll take it!
