As always, The Pilot VTTBOTS is in some ways superior to the series. A pretty suspensful film, well written, good color special FX...the 'Global Warming' Addition to the DVD is great, and *also* includes some excellent history of Science Fiction. Get this edition if you buy the film.

A classic tale, not as good as i remember it to be as a child but still good clean entertainment for the the whole family, better than commercial TV has to offer.

VHS : Deep Blue Sea (P&S Coll Slip)
Lets face it, it's not Jaws, it was never supposed to be but as far as shark movie's go, I don't think Deep Blue Sea was all that bad, I mean come on the scene with Samuel L. Jackson? That was pretty cool.

VHS : Virus (1999)
The movie is basically "Robots attacking a ship". It contains no suspense and no horror. Special effects are like that of a TV show. Acting is below par. Donald Sutherland is ridiculous with his extremely dumb role of the Captain.

It's a waste of time and money.

Travelers on ocean ships reported a strange creature in the sea. It comes close to ships. One ship fires its cannons at it, the creature rammed the ship and damages it. Three travelers fell overboard from their ship. They are rescued, or captured, by the 'Nautilus', a submersible ship. [The interior of this ship shows an unbelievable amount of space!] They meet Nemo, the captain of this extraordinary ship. He tells them how they live off the sea. Nemo explains its replenishable power source. The conversations bring out the characters of the people.

They don special suits to travel underwater and observe life beneath the sea, where no man has gone before. Their electric guns drive away sharks. They use a speaking tube for communication. Nemo was a victim of Western imperialism and hopes to regain freedom ... Read More
