Come on Universal Pictures, please release this on DVD in the U.S., it is long over due. You have released far worse movies on DVD, why not this? This movie is a 80's classic.

Given that I already own The Monster Legacy Collection (Frankenstein / Dracula / The Wolf Man) (busts and all), I hemmed, hawed, and read other reviews prior to purchasing the 75th Anniversary Edition. However, an Amazon seller listed an offer I couldn't refuse, so I bit and, all things considered, have no cause for regrets. The Good: First, the print looks and sounds better than the previous releases. Nice and clean with deep blacks, good contrast, and very little damage, the video is solid and a pleasure to watch. However, I'm especially appreciative of the audio remastering--it sounds terrific for the first time (at least in my opinion). This is a good movie, however, I expected more from a bluray version. Film quality is bad - it does not seem to have been post-processed at all to improve the image quality beyond the original film. Poor analog to digital transfer. If you own a DVD or even VCR version of this movie, don't bother repurchasing it.

Michael Keaton and Andie MacDowell fit together perfectly in this film about cloning yourself to meet the demands of your life. Unbelievable photography enables you to visualize the "clones" altogether in certain scenes and amazing variances in Keaton's character portrails really cause you to jump right into the story. Great love story and truly rare humor easily make this a keeper and a 5 star rating.

I JUST WATCHED "THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN" FOR THE FIRST TIME (73 YEARS AFTER ITS MAKING). WHILE MOVIE MAKING HAS OBVIOUSLY TRAVELED LIGHT YEARS FROM THE TECHNIQUES USED IS THIS FILM, IT IS STILL A TRUE CLASSIC IN HORROR FILMDOM. ASIDE FROM JUST A FEW OUT OF FOCUS SHOTS LEFT IN THE FILM, SUCH AS THE TOUCHING OF HANDS IN THE "REBUFFED" SCENE, THIS IS STILL A CREEPY AND RATHER SCARY FILM THAT IS TRULY TIMELESS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO SEE A LITTLE MORE OF THE BRIDE..BUT MAYBE THE BEST WAS TRULY SAVED FOR THE END THIS TIME. I COULDN'T HELP BUT FEEL SORRY FOR THE BIG FELLA AS HE TRIED AND TRIED TO BEFRIEND MANY HE CAME INTO CONTACT WITH...BUT WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF A 7 FOOT SQUARE HEADED MAN-CREATURE HAPPENED UPON YOU? THIS IS A GREAT FILM. I WOULD PAY TO SEE THIS MOVIE ON THE BIG SCREEN.

Forever Young is a good and romantic drama. The story is a bit soapy but I believe this film was written by J.J. Abrams who went on to bigger and better things. The cast is extraordinary here with stars like Mel Gibson, Jamie Lee Curtis, and a young Elijah Wood. I like this film, brings back a lot of great memories, check it out sometime!

The best laid plans of mice and men, not to mention flies. This is first rate science fiction, but of a heart-wrenching variety. This story is a bit in the spirit of Jack London tales, where some spirited individual gets crushed (in this case, literally), by going out too far on his own. In this case the spirited individual is a family man who happens to be a scientific genius, developing in his basement the first matter teleportation device. It works, but he fails to realize that the wilderness he confronts in it is not as user friendly as his wife and kid. It confuses him with a fly (which was in the disintegrator with him but escaping his notice).
