I would recommend this to anyone--man or woman--who has not laughed in a day or so. I am 60 and enjoyed her work and played it for adult women in their 20's and they appreciated it as well.

This video, though a little corny, is for anyone thinking of owning a handgun for self defense but doesn't have the knowledge of how to start. Don't be stupid and buy a gun and then try to figure out how to use it on your own. This video is less about the details and more about telling the newbie how to get motivated and where to go for their first experience. I think starting with a .38 special revolver and getting professional personal instruction as shown in the video is a great way to start. My son's vocabulary is insanely advanced (at 16 months old he had 50 words), and I think this video series has helped. He was a super preemie so therapists were urging us to stay on top of his development (at one point his speech seemed behind). One therapist recommended this video series a few months ago. We play these videos (alternating Volumes 1 & 2) for him once every couple of days. He's suprisingly entertained by them (there's no story, just pictures of things while a voice names them: Baby, Ball!) But he soaks it up, and recently started talking up a storm, pointing to things and yelling Lion! etc. Of course the videos don't get all the credit. I constantly narrate to him. But I highly recommended this video series.

You can only take so much text, flash cards, and study ... then you need to see it in action. part of the learning process is not just learning the signs, but being able to read them when someone else uses them. Looking for perfect? Language is not perfect. This is a great primer as it also gets you exposed to someone who has had to learn speach without the aid of hearing. this is a great DVD,

The film is about Julia Roberts's month-long experience with orangutans, as seen by Julia Roberts, who left the comfortable surroundings normally enjoyed by Julia Roberts. Do we really need the montage of Julia leaving NYC, with multiple art-school close-ups/silhouettes? Or so much focus on her Hepburnesque boat making its way up the river? Still, orangutans being what they are, there is footage to commend this effort. Seeing the orangutan empty a flooded canoe to make its way across the river and help scrub clothes is genuinely touching. This video came out in 1994, I didn't buy it till 2007. I think it's the BEST step video, and probably the best of all aerobic workouts, that I own. It really stands the test of time, as you can tell from people leaving postive reviews for this video for several years now. I'm high-intermediate to advanced but when it comes to step, I don't like to learn complex choreogrpahy because that just wastes precious workout time. This one was easy to learn, it's fun and enjoyable, yet still challanges me, because Kari demonstrates different advanced options during every combo. Just choose all the advanced moves if you need more challange. Choose all the easier moves if you are still learning or need to take it easy. This video is a good mix of atmosphere and music. Music is a blend of traditional pieces, with bits of fireplace crackling interspersed. The fireplace crackling fades to the background and does not interrupt the music. The fire is lively enough to keep you interested. It was perfect to bring the season to a condo in Florida. The video will play again next Christmas. Excellent choice.
