VHS : Guyver Vol. 3
All in all, the DVDs are BAD my friends. The opening sequence is completely cut from the episodes, and replaced with this awful clip sequence of cuts from variouse episodes. It's not even a song, and it just makes you want to cringe. To make it worse, the Chapter cuts are done so badly, you can't even skip the bad opening without cutting in a quarter of the way through the episode. And the extra features are minimal if any.

But, all in all, if this is the only way to GET Guyver on DVD, then it is a sacrifice that must be made. Aside from the few minor edits to the actual anime, it's still all there (even if you have to go looking through the extra features for episode 12.) If you don't want to keep rewinding through three episodes on your collection of 4 low quality VHSs, get it. ... Read More

5.Guyver 2: Dark Hero starring: David Hayter, Kathy Christopherson, Bruno Giannotta, Christopher Michael, Stuart Weiss

VHS : Guyver 2: Dark Hero
The second Guyver film far surpasses the first. Steve Wang's special effects bring this sequal up a bar. The story is far superior to the first and there is an abundence of Tokusatsu style action scenes. The story does suffer some bad lines here and there and the length of the overall production is hindering. It is clear the producers were hesitant to edit anything out of this film. The Guyver suit is much better in this version than the last, the muscular appearance more resembling its anime counterpart. The coolest part of this film is the Guyver/Zoanoid hybrid, who provides an excellent final villian for the film.
All fans of sci-fi and Japanese action films should get this movie.

these were good episodes, they both had enough action to keep you happy, and enough story to keep you glued to the screen.keep in mind the 12th episode is not for the kids. all in all this was a good video although the ending leaves you wanting more (but then again what ending to a good series doesnt).and if you already got the other episodes ya might as well go ahead and get this one.

It is a ok guyver movie. I mean it is not a thriler movie like all the other guyver movies. So if you are a ture guyver fan then you will most likely to in joy it but if you are not a big fan you most likely not in joy it.

I can't even give it a single star, but since I have to give it, I give it 1.
This is so far away from the brilliant original comic and animation series that you wonder how these filmmakers got a hold of the rights to mess it up to this end.
I was thoroughly disappointed that the filmmakers decided to monkey around with the monsters and make them into the Stooges - why do they always make things pedantic like that?
