I have really enjoyed this video. A team of us at work are doing the 8 minute workout during our safety meeting and then at lunch. I have mastered the 8 minute workout and will proceed at home doing the Basic. At work we will continue to do the 8 minute workout until the group is ready to move forward at lunch to the Basic. I would and have recommended this video to friends of mine. I have being doing the 8 minute workout for 5 weeks now and I can feel and see the results. TAEBO REALLY WORKS!!!!

This video is appropriate for people who have no interest in a yoga workout whatsoever. It is slow, ineffective, and short. More time is spent reading the warnings than doing any real yoga. The am portion is so slow it will put you right back to sleep. Save your money! Buy a real yoga video!

I bought this because I wanted to excersize at home and this seemed like it would be a good work out. I have so far tried the first video of the 2 pack and it is an hour long. It was a very good aerobic work out and I couldn't get through the whole hour (45min) before I was really tired. I hadn't worked out in a while so this really tired me out. If you didn't own the beginner or any of his other videos the tae-bo moves are a little hard to catch on to at first because they go so fast. Once you learn them (it doesn't take too long) you will be getting a great aerobic and muscular work out.

I happened to catch the 1-mile walk on a hotel room TV. As soon as it was over, I ordered the DVD. The 1-mile walk is fast and easy--about 20 minutes and you've knocked out a mile and used lots of different muscles. I do the one mile every morning (in my work clothes!) and the two-mile in the evening. (It takes 35 minutes.) After a month of this, I'm still not bored and...most importantly...I'm down two pants sizes. It's great!

These videos were very well photographed. Aside from the narration occasionally turning to the cheesy side by iterating quotes with fake accents, this is a great collection to see some of the natural beauty that America has to offer. Makes you want to run out and visit these places and find more of what's out there. If your not interested in scenic beauty, then this collection probably isn't for you.

I only used the first video in the collection with my students, but they really liked it. Sister Wendy is facinating to them because of her looks and sarcasm. (Most of my students were inner city kids) They loved. I do advise that you view it first, since in the last 3 minutes of the video she shows a Limborg brothers work that the men have no underpants (although they look like cow udders! Not appropriate for kids.) I just cut it off there when they were watching. They always begged me to see what it was. I even had a couple of kids who checked it out from the public library to see it. They said it was no big deal and we should have just watched it...

Some moves may tire out your shoulders and hips, but it isn't much of a "workout," and definitely not cardio or strenuous. ~10min of head/neck & shoulder/arm movements . ~10min of rib/hip movements. ~5min of basic steps. ~5min of floor moves (Cleopatra/outer thigh lift, cat, leg stretch) They introduce individual isolated moves, and repeat them several times for users to practice; most moves were easy to pick up (but will take time & practice to make it look graceful). I don't know if it's the instructors or if it's because they are demonstrated isolated motions, but they look a bit robotic/jerky. This seems is an Intro to belly dance for total beginners. ...
