Terrific in every way. Introduced me to Richard Jordan, an actor whose work always grabbed me by the throat, who could go toe to toe with any actor of his day (if he had been able to finish playing Dr. Kohl in The Fugitive, what a confrontation that would have been at the end!) and who died far, far too soon. The brief scenes between him and Henry Fonda (who puts the curse on him and his family) are unforgettable (watch Fonda to see how a strong man can crumble and Jordan to see how a strong man can crack just a little bit). Each tape has two episodes. Don't start them too late in the evening, or like me you'll be up until 2 am finishing them.

The Cowboy and the Senorita; which was Dale's first movie with Roy; a story of action and a gold mine. Finally the best one; The Yellow Rose of Texas. The Yellow Rose is the showboat Dale performs on. Roy tries to clear her father's name after he is accused of stagecoach robbery. These four wonderful movies, and so many more, are the reason Roy Rodgers was the king of the cowboys!
