this is a wonderful film and i like it alot, the only thing to complain about is there is alot of singing!! but other then that, it has such beautiful color when Dorathy first steps out of her house, into OZ.

I never received this product. I've put in requests for help to the seller and to Amazon, but so far no response from anyone. If you get this response please begin a check as to where this product is, and why did I not get any satisfaction from anyone.

I ordered this supposedly rare color set thinking 23 dollars was a good price for fond memories....what I got was a 1960s-70 VHS quality colorized copies...yes the tapes are still faded and the color unnatural in spots...Hollywood can do anything digially these days but whomever is distributing and making money on this evidently does not care. Amazon please include a note specifing what one is getting on your site ..a disclaimer at least..you are too good a company for this kind of business selling tapes one can record over the airwaves!!!!Also they are coming out with DVDS in May I hope they are better...

I owned Charlie Brown Thanksgiving in VHS and recently converted to DVD. I asked my grandchildren if they wanted me to replace Charlie Brown Thanksgiving in DVD and they all said YES!. It's a classic at our house and they often borrow it to take home and watch. It's one of those movies that they enjoy over and over again. It's great fun for the whole family. We all watch it together at least once a season.

'The Hobbit' and 'The Return of the King' are the R-B Productions, and in quality they evoke much of what endeared other R-B animation to TV viewers during the holidays. As one reviewer has already pointed out, the animators they use prove to be great stylists within a limited budget. I always thought R-B was trying to rival Disney at a fraction of the cost, and in retrospect they clearly had. We just bought the entire 35 volume set of Between the Lions videos for our son as a posthumous gift from his grandmother, a librarian and storyteller, extraordinaire. She would have LOVED this show. This excellent PBS show feels like an update on Sesame Street with a strong pull for parents to participate and enjoy it along with their kids. This Lion family in a Library teaches all of us that parents reading to their children every day is how a child will best learn to read.
