But plays well. The back has a near puncture hole in it. I'm glad I wasn't giving it as a gift... would have looked like I really skimped.

This video is great, and I wish that the New Kids had made a video for their first album. Step by Step shows the guys live and backstage, and they are really cute!

VHS : A Muppet Family Christmas
This is one of the best, if not the best videos that the late, great Jim Henson produced prior to his untimely death. I resell a lot of the children's videos that I purchase on line, at private sales and from my own distributors, and this one literally flys off my auction site as soon as I list one. This is an out of print video, so its not very easy to find copies of same.Of course, as with most of Henson's videos, violence is not present, the majority of his videos are all feel good ones and they are absolutely great for the young children.

2.5 stars. Poitier is Poitier. I'm starting to believe his whole charm was that he looked good in sixties-styled clothing. But as far as having any depth I've only seen a glimmer of it in A raisin in the sun. The rest, well, they all seem like the same character. Really, there's no difference between this performance and that of A patch of Blue or Guess who's coming to Dinner. Plus if this was the depth of problems in the late sixties then truly it was a generation of spoiled brats. I just wasn't impressed.

I watched this movie when I was about 5 years old. and to this day it still remains one of my favorite movies of all time. I am a die hard Michael Jackson fan and anybody whom is in love with Micahel as much as I am needs to buy this movie. He is truely a great entertainer and a brilliant performer/actor. Very good story, GREAT MUSIC SEQUENCES, classic Michael Jackson at his greatest!I mean, what else could you ask for? He was the hero in this movie and is my hero in real life. Even with all the alligations surrounding him, you can't deny his emaculate influence to the music industry and the world. It has been a long time since I have seen this movie and I am so glad that I recieved the opportunity to buy a copy for myself. His legacy will continue no matter what....

VHS : Bear in the Big Blue House - Berry Bear Christmas
I can't believe they haven't released this on DVD! I don't usually go for "generic holiday" stuff, but good old Bear manages to be profoundly true to the spirit (and spirituality) of Christmas even when he's scrupulously calling it "the winter holidays." The message for young children is that Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) isn't about getting presents; it's about showing love and kindness to others. The young animals in the Blue House learn this lesson when their argument about opening presents is interrupted by the howls of a homeless dog. They welcome him in and, with the help of the magical Winter Berry, help him find a home. I think my 3-year-old got the message on his own level: after watching the video a couple of times, he responded eagerly when I suggested we put some money in the Salvation ... Read More

Excellent performance by all the actors and opera singers. It was a very good idea to transport the classic opera into a movies version. This adaptation is not new, nevertheless, is a masterpiece for all times. Congratulations !

I love this movie. It's funny and makes me nostalgic because I was just a kid when it came to theaters. The acting is great and the situations are funny. I just wish some studio would re-release the movie! Look at the other '80s teen movies on this site: $6.99-$12.99. This one: starting at $54!!! No way! Hopefully, in time, they will release it in an anniversary edition or something. Then I'll definitely buy it.

VHS : Sesame Street - Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
It just isn't Christmas for me until I watch Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. My birthday is Christmas Eve and one year I received an old cassette tape recorder as a gift. My sister and I, age 9 and 6 at the time, recorded the whole movie from the tv while we watched. I would give anything now to find that tape with our giggles, comments and singing on it. It is such a sincere, calm and beautiful Christmas special. I'm always surprised that more people haven't heard of it. It takes me back to the very best of my childhood Christmases and I so enjoy sharing it with my children now.
