VHS : Dual - Trouble Adventure - Student Housing (Vol. 2)
From the beginning of this movie/series you can see Evangelion, it looks like a very clear duplication done poorly. There are many parts that compare to Tenchi Muyo as well but the similarities to Evangelion just never left my mind. Nothing particularly wrong with the title except the lack of any real action, just nothing to recomend it either.

If you want another title to add to your collection you can do worse, but if your on a budget skip this and buy something else.

VHS : Dual - Trouble Adventure - Artifacts (Vol. 3)
This volume of Dual! gives an up-close and personal look at Miss Ra. All three episodes are pretty devoted to plot development and an exploration of the parallel world and the artifact. We learn a lot more about the Rara army and family. And, once again, there's a cliff-hanger ending. Overall, an excellent volume. Highly recommended.

Has I have watched more and more dvd titles produced by pioneer,I have come to expect one thing, it being solid. There is nothing wrong with being solid. While Pioneer hasn't produced anything spectular like Cowboy Bebop, or Neon Genesis, I am constantly amazed how much I still enjoy title's by Pioneee, like Trigun, Tenchi Muyo, serial Experiment Lain. Dual Trouble Vision is no different. In the final dvd One Vision the series comes to an end at episode 13, but it has an extra OVA in episode 14. In this installement of the series finally some question on answered about why Kazuki is in one world but not the other, and some answers about the orgin of D. Overall the animation is what you would expect from something produced by Pioneer, solid. Noticing a common theme. But haveing said that ... Read More

VHS : Dual - Trouble Adventure - Visions (Vol. 1)
The story opens with Kasuki, a high school student who's being plagued by incredibly real "visions" of mecha units engaged in furious warfare. The visions are so realistic that he posts descriptions of them on his website as a fictional story, contributing to his reputation as being "really weird" from his classmates. Initially dismissing the visions as merely intense daydreams, he's understandably reluctant to talk about it to anyone-- including Mitsuki, the class beauty who has taken an interest in his stories.

While visiting Mitsuki's home, Kasuki is accidentally transported to a parallel world where he's shocked to discover that his "visions" of warfare are actually the reality of that world. And that he's very much alone.

Despite having borrowed plot elements from ... Read More
