I am a runner, so Steve Prefontaine is a hero to me. He was an awesome runner, and also did a lot for amateur athletics overall, affecting all generations after him. He died such a tragic, untimely death, but his legacy and inspiration live on. Great documentary of a great hero.

The only time that Snead and Hogan ever played a head to head 18 hole exhibition match for national television took place at the Houston Country Club in 1965. Prior to this, Snead had held a 3-0 series edge in tour playoffs, including the famous win at the 1954 Masters. Hogan played his guts out at Houston, hitting 18 fairways and 18 greens. Career grand slam winner Gene Sarazen called Ben's round the best from tee to green that he'd seen in his 63 years. Officially, it ended 69-72, misleading since Hogan missed many holeable putts, the bane of the ageing golfer.Do not be too quick to turn off your video either. Two men who combined to win 16 major titles had more understandable technique tips after the match than one will hear from a modern pro in hours of lessons.

this video is a very good resource for novice coaches as well as people who would like to learn how to play the game. the drills are designed for youth age group (14 y/o and below)so if you're looking for more advanced skills,this is not for you.the instructions and skill demonstrations were clearly presented. it also shows the basic why's of basketball. it is a must for youth coaches as well as physical education instructors.

This video was released in '95 and even 12 years later it's worth getting out your old VCR for a watch. I caught "Tank Girl" on TV yesterday and heard the same song thats played in Jeremy Mcgrath's incredible opening segment, so I came home and spent an hour digging for my old VHS tapes and hooking up the VCR just for those first few minutes of motocross bliss. While I don't enjoy the rest of the video as much, its still worth owning and watching even if just for the nostalgia of the good old days when Mcgrath was king riding atop the Honda CR Steed.
