VHS : Goosebumps -The Haunted Mask
As a child, I loved this episode! I still consider it my favorite Goosebumps movie! Carly Beth is sick and tired of being scared all the time by Chuck and Steve, so she decides to get even. She goes to a Novelty Shop and finds the scariest mask she's ever seen. On HALLOWEEN night, Carly and her friend, Sabrina go trick-or-treating and Sabrina notices that Carly has changed ever since she put the mask on. Later, after she gets her revenge and scares Chuck and Steve, she tries to take the mask off, but it has become her new face. Carly goes back to the store and asks the manager for help. He tells her that only the symbol of love can help take the mask off. The other masks like Carly's start to come alive and try to get Carly Beth to join them. Can Carly Betn find the symbol of love in time? ... Read More

When I saw this movie I was shocked of how creepy it was. I'd have to say the creepest part was when the girls sneaks into the bathroom and sees her Dad cut open his skin and green blood came out, plant blood, then he makes his kids eat it! So this movie taught me a lesson... not to touch, look at, or go near a plant. YOU HAVE YO SEE THIS FILM!!!

VHS : Goosebumps - One Day at Horrorland Part 1 & 2
One of the creepiest Goosebumps episodes, the tale of a family who gets lost trying to find a zoo and ends up at a very unusual (and deadly) amusement park instead. The eerie quietness of the sparsely inhabited park makes it seem chillingly realistic, and some of the things that happen to the kids and their parents are pretty bizarre. Lizzie is almost crushed to death when the walls of the house of mirrors close in on her, Luke has a close encounter with a hairy tarantula, the family encounters a monster carrying the talking head of a teenage girl in one hand, and the father almost faints when he discovers that the monsters are actually real. Details are well thought-out too, showing the remnants of families who weren't so lucky, as we see glasses, dentures, strollers, picnic baskets, and a totaled car ... Read More

VHS : The X-Files: Humbug/Anasazi
Until recently, I had never seen an episode of "The X-Files" and when I watched a tape with two episodes, I had only a vague idea of what was going on. The storyline was heavily dependent on the context established by previous episodes, so it was difficult to understand.
Happily, that was not the case for the "Humbug" episode. It was very easy to understand and is an example of something that would at first appear impossible. It is an intense murder mystery involving a bizarre serial killer, yet it is also humorous. It closes with one of the best lines of dialog ever uttered, even though it is a cliche.
Mulder and Scully are on the trail of a serial killer that gouges out a large section of the victim's abdomen. Their travels take them to a trailer park inhabited by ex-sideshow acts. The ... Read More
