The third video, the closure of the first trilogy, lives up to the standard that the other two videos set. Rally and May are invited by the Mayor to a ceramony where he wants to present an award for their involentary help for taking down gun smuggling ring. Of course, their assasin is still alive and after them. City Hall's going to explode in more than one way in this third, action-packed video in the Gunsmith Cat series.

This is certainly of the better action packed short anime series that I've seen. Great character design by Kenichi Sonoda, along with a lot of careful detail when it comes to weapon design. Lots of great gunfights, great 70s style soundtrack, and cool plot make this a great watch! Any fans of anime or 70s cop movies will get a lot of enjoyment out of this one, I know I did! Episode 2 is also worth checking out, although not as good as this one. Episode 3 was rather mediocre due to a different character designer. Oh yeah, and try to get the subtitled instead of the dubbed (as usual ^_^).

I got it at Hollyowood video for secondhand. It is tottaly awesome. My favorite thing about this is funnyness. Minnie May is so active. Mostly boys like this but not me. I am a girl and I stil am not offended by the blood,guns,and bombs. It's like an ordinary day for our heroins Minnie May and Rally. It is kawaii(cute),too. So if you like stuff like this go to Ebay or here and other bvecause I don't think they sell this anymore.

I thought that this would be another example of the "screechy female" anime in the same fasion as the atrocious "Sailor Moon" but it is not. Containing alot of good gunfights, car chases and explosions, this tale chronicles the exploits of two female detective/gun dealers who live and work in Chicago. If you want a real treat, you could get the compilation tape that has all 4 episodes of Gunsmith Cats. Action fans, you won't be disappointed.
