VHS : Blue Seed, Vol. 1
This series is really cool! I love how they actually put good english voices with the characters, because usually i get subtitled because they are uncut & have better voices but in this case the english voices are great! I am totally obsessed with Kusinagi, the plant guy!!!! ^_^ I think you should really see this if you really like comedy & action mixedd together!!!!

VHS : Blue Seed, Vol. 2
After some confusion, Momigi ends up in Tokyo under the guidance of the TAC. In this episode, she enjoys the thrills of Tokyo. And like more episodes to come, there is another Aragami who wants to kill Momigi. This one is a crow. Forunetely, she does quite a lot of damage by firing a flare gun at it and Kusanagi takes care of the rest. The episode ends with Momigi becoming one of the TAC. The next episode introduces some of the members of the TAC, but most of it discuses the relationship between Momigi and the bazooka babe of the TAC. They start out as enemies, but in the end, they both find that they like each other. The episode also feature more Aragami fun when the TAC obtains one as a living sample and also discovers its whereabouts. The omake theater isn't quite as good as the last volume, ... Read More

VHS : Blue Seed, Vol. 2
Think I like it.

At first the series appears to be typical monster stuff, but by the second volume it's obviously more than just that. Some shinto elements makes things much more interesting.

We have a silly, over-achiever herione, with a blue seed connection to the "enemy". She happens to survive all attacks, but is it luck, skill or destiny?

At the end of each Blue Seed volumes, there's some omake (special fan service mini-episode totally unrelated to the main plot with the regular characters) Very humorous addition to this series.

Absolutely wonderful! based on Yuzo Takada's manga (3x3 Eyes, All-Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku), with wonderful story and animation, and to-die-for voice acting! This series is a must for ANY anime fan.

In the first episode on this tape, you get to see a glimsp to Kusinagi's moral side and to how he feels towards Momiji. Plus it tackles a couple of moral ideals like which is more important work or family and is it okay to treat someone like a guiney pig.

The second episode on this tape is about Momiji and the PC geek. Discussing on the topic mostly about the idea that when on a team everyone is vital regardless of how small the roll or how useless it seems.

Both episodes touch off on Momiji's unmentionables in a really funny way like usual. I'm curious to know why the animators decided on this running gag on poor Momiji. However, I do agree with Kusinagi, she does seem a bit too old for toony underwear.

Its still a riot though. I haven't seen all of ... Read More

VHS : Blue Seed, Vol. 5: A Date with Danger
What a great series! This series has a young, pretty girl who may have to be sacrificed in order for the human race to survive. Her friends, Kusanagi and the members of the TAC, don't want her sacrificed so they do everything in their power to try to save Momiji. Great animation, fun characters, and an absolutely terrific storyline. The dubbing is also great. You'll love Momiji: she is not the smartest person(tests scores at school) but she is not ditzy, and she is absolutely courageous in the face of monsters. Her relationship with Kusanagi is fantastically developed. A great anime.
