VHS : Cnn: Cold War (8pc)
This is an excellent series, done in a similar style to the WWII documentary "World at War" (both were produced by Jeremy Isaacs--Ted Turner had seen that earlier program and asked Isaacs to produce a cold war documentary). Unfortunately it's never been put on DVD, and the VHS version has long been out of print, with used copies typically fetching over a hundred dollars. So if you want to see it and don't care too much about video quality, I recommend going to video dot google dot com and doing a search for something like "cnn cold war", or "cold war" plus a specific episode title--most or all can be found online.

7.Cnn: People Bomb starring: CNN-People Bomb

VHS : Cnn: People Bomb
The People Bomb is a set of 10-15 minutes CNN news reports about several dimensions of the global demographic explosion, mostly in the Third World (notably India). It provides very powerful images depicting basic but fundamental problems. Even if it was broadcasted in 1992, the problems discussed are even more acute today and of high relevance. For instance, the global population reached 6 billion in 1999 (5.4 billion in 1992: Who is overpopulated?) and the issue of the missing female population (Son Mania) has now reached 100 million, most of them in China and India, according to some sources. It is an excellent video to be presented in classes covering population and development issues. I would however recommend it to a more mature audience because of the sensitivity of some scenes: e.g. abortions ... Read More

VHS : Cnn: Murder By Numbers
The cover of this video is deceptive. It actually has very little to do with Jeffery Dahmer. Nonetheless, it has some facinating stories about some other, less famous, serial killers. The best story is about the guy who worked in the hospital. 'Murder by Number' starts off boorish, but gets better towards the end.

9.CNN Prespectives Presents: COLD WAR - Vol 2 - Marshall Plan, Berlin from: CNN Productions & Warner Home Video
